I know there is a lot of controversy about these LED masks, with some saying it works, and others saying it's a waste of money. After having a few friends confirm good results, I decided to give it a try, and came to Currentbody as one of the more respected versions on the market. I've been on the weight loss drugs now for 6 months, and while I love the results, I am starting to see the "ozempic face" that people have been talking about. Since using this mask, I have absolutely seen a positive difference in some of the sagging in my face. It's subtle, but I see it, and believe me I was skeptical. It's also helped tone down some of the redness in my face, and I do notice an improvement in texture. This is not a face lift, and I don't think we should expect miracles, but if you're looking for some improvement in your skin on a fairly noticeable basis, I think this mask delivers. Overall I'm glad I made the investment and am pretty happy with the results. Please note that results do take dedication and time. At 52, with post-menopausal skin and noticeable loss of elasticity, I’m very selective about what I use and what I continue using long term. I’ve been consistent with LED therapy for years and have used both handheld devices and the Omnilux Contour Face, so I went into the CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask Series 2 with a clear point of comparison. This is, without question, an upgrade. What immediately sets this apart is the coverage. It extends further down over the jawline and chin, which is critical for mature skin where laxity tends to show first. That added coverage makes it feel like a more complete treatment rather than focusing only on the center of the face. The build quality is also noticeably better. This mask feels more structured and durable than others I’ve used, including softer silicone styles. It holds its shape well and sits securely on the face without slipping or collapsing, which makes the entire experience feel more stable and higher quality. That sturdiness translates directly into comfort because you’re not constantly adjusting it during use. Beyond that, the technology itself is more advanced. This mask uses multiple wavelengths, including red and near-infrared light, which work at different depths within the skin. Over time, this supports firmness and overall skin quality in a way that feels more comprehensive than single-level treatments. Comfort was another surprise. I had read that this mask might be less comfortable, but I found the opposite to be true. It feels secure, well-balanced, and easy to wear for the full treatment time. The addition of the eye pads is a thoughtful detail that makes a real difference. The light is less intense on the eyes, which makes the experience much more relaxing. In terms of skin response, this integrates very well into an existing routine. My skin feels calm, balanced, and noticeably more supple after use. This mask is on its way back! Had it for just under 2 weeks. Used about 10 times, and I LOVED IT!!!! LOVED IT!! Until it stopped working. I thought it was just a low battery, so followed directions and allowed it to charge overnight. The battery unit indicated by a steady white light that it was fully charged. I put on mask, got comfy and looking forward to the warm wonderful feeling on my face; but NOOOOOOOOOOOO, it turned on the red lights, only, to dim to yellow and off a few seconds later. Checked the battery charger again, blinking light, re-connected charger, a few minutes later, steady white light, which indicates 'fully charged, but same thing happens again, no red light, then off. SO DISAPPOINTING!!!! and at this price range, it should work longer than 10 sessions. So save your money, you can buy 3 cheap masks at this price and at least when you replace them, you won't feel so cheated. That being said, I am SO GLAD that I purchased through AMAZON, and got a no fuss, no muss, return policy!!!! THANK YOU, AMAZON! ... show more

    • I’ve used other red light masks but this one is a huge step up
I ordered this led light therapy mask because I had been gifted a less expensive one and had been using it regularly for about 6 weeks and hadn’t noticed any changes. But with this one I can literally feel something in my face, like a tightening feeling, right after taking it off. I’ve only had it for about two weeks and I can’t stop looking in the mirror. I’m shocked by how much younger my face is looking. It is flexible, lightweight and comfortable to wear. I like that there aren’t a bunch of controls where I need to figure out what setting to use. PROS- I have a healthy skin barrier but my skin leans dry and the mask works for me. I had some peeling after the first use. I wasn’t discouraged. It told me the mask was working and increasing cell turnover, rapidly. Every mask includes a card with the details of production for your specific mask. This was a nice touch that felt like true luxury. The mask fits nicely and I like how it goes under the chin and is large enough to cover my face and hairline. The auto timer is a great feature and the weight of the mask sits nicely on my skin. I like how flexible and durable the mask is. CONS- As many others have noted, the HAIRS on the mask! I noticed this is not animal hair this is from the Velcro straps SHEDDING. Unfortunately this is one of my biggest complaints of the mask. I wish the straps were higher quality so they didn’t shed all over the place. I noticed the shedding going down after the second use so I hope it stops eventually. I also had a lot of trouble figuring out the straps as it wasn’t intuitive to me at all. Thankfully the company has a video but it wasn’t in the instruction manual so I had to pull out my phone and search the Amazon page for instructions. I feel the user experience was lacking there. I also feel the manual could have provided more information and detail about the mask and potential side effects, and skin care after using the mask. It kind of leaves you wondering, what next? Thankfully with some google research I was able to find a routine that works well for me. With a couple tweaks to the user experience, and straps this is a 5 star mask!
