I had a red PD cookware set that was about 9 years old that had just had it. The red coating was coming off and the inside was no longer non stick. I wanted a new set & was thrilled when my husband found this. I had one issue with shipping (the one smaller pan was dented) but I don't think it was Amazon's fault, but they quickly replaced my set. I LOVE that PD listened and did away with the older style that had the silver bolts inside (for the handles) because they were always horrid to get clean. I had bought a PD pot at AAFES, and really liked it. I wanted to replace my 37 year old Revere Wear with something non-stick because when cooking beans or simmering things for a long time food tended to stick and burn. So as much as I cherished my wedding shower gift cookware, it was time to update. I found this set on Amazon and gave it a shot. I was a little disappointed to find that it is not as heavy as the one I purchased previously, but it's not thin flimsy metal either. So far I'm happy with it and the set has a good range of sizes. It is an attractive teal blue speckled enamel, it doesn't match the blue of the single pot, but that's not a showstopper. It was cheaper here by about $30 than what I finally found for in store. I would definitely recommend this set, (I think it was made in Indonesia-I prefer to buy American but could not find any), just remember it's not very heavy duty but certainly adequate for everyday cooking. ... show more

I love my new cookware! It was hard for me to find a cookware set that offered a non-stick interior, a smooth non-metallic bottom, and had healthful qualities but then I found this! It's all those things PLUS it looks so pretty too. One tiny detail that was an added bonus was that there are no screws or screw-covers on the insides of the cookware so it makes cleaning even easier as there's no crevices where food can hide. I got these pans as a Christmas gift. We only got our first home two years ago so I’ve been a cooking newbie. After building up my cooking skills, my husband surprised me with these. I never thought pans really mattered. They do! The non stick coating on these is amazing. Even burnt cheese slides right off. All the big lids fit all the big pots. No worries about whether you've got the right lid or not. Clean up is quick and easy but don't put them in the dishwasher! This the second set I've purchased because I liked it so much. The only down side was that we used the large skillet more than the other pieces so it wore out too quickly.
