I purchased this from Amazon as they were the lowest priced and actually had sold a lot of both models, but the Neuro Smooth had some great reviews and some not so great, thus I am giving my two cents worth. I have dry hair with some breakage, fall out due to medications for Thyroid. However, this Neuro 1.25” Flat-Iron is amazing, it’s the first one I have bought that I can easily program and SEE the correct temperature to avoid frying my hair. Even with natural hair loss on top of my issues I have very thick hair about1.5” below my shoulders, it usually took me 45-60 minutes to blow dry & straighten my hair. Now it’s less than 30 minutes, and my hair is shiny and looks salon straightened. People complained about this pulling on their hair, I have not had that problem, and this is the BEST FLAT IRON I have ever owned!! ... show more

No bueno. Wanted to love. Seemed like quite an upgrade from my old small CHI. My hair kept snagging on it somehow and smelled like it was burning. Did not have soft, shiny results. This is my second one. My hairdresser recommended it so I could lower the temperature settings and not fry my hair so much. It has helped. The first one lasted quite a few years.
