I got an extra small and I probably should have gotten a small or medium, but I can still manage it - the stretchy material isn't too bad, however the way the zipper is sewn in makes it impossible to bend over and the neck piece will choke you out like an overzealous tinder hookup. I plan on using it as a base for my own modifications, and for that purpose I'd say it would work, however I should have invested in something less cheap. Some parts are sheer and you will see the lines of whatever garments you're wearing underneath, especially black ones like I did. It's not too unflattering if you're looking for a Elastigirl look, and I think it will make a decent base for heavy modifications. I am a plus size cosplayer and even though this costume doesnt blow me out of the park, its not bad for its price. I am 5' tall and about 180-190 pounds. I have more of an hour glass figure so my waiste is a bit smaller but my thighs, hips, and buttocks are all a bit larger. I ordered the Large to be safe and it fit well. The costume was a tad bit tight around my thighs but not unflattering. I have bad cellulite in my legs and none of it showed. The belt was One Size Fits All and didnt fit around my hips so i simply sewed it to the hem line about 3/4 the way around the suit. Luckily it lined up perfect with the hem that joins the red and black material. The zipper was a bit cheap, at first it kept unzipping on its own so i tightened the pully. Then, although it was a bit loose in the back around the zipper, the zipper popped open from the bottom which caused the zipper to get stuck. This happens often so i simply resewed the bottom of the zipper into the hem near it and was careful with how i moved around and sat. All together it was worth its price i just wish there was a sturdier zipper and the costume itself was offered in more sizes. ... show more

It’s quite tight since they didn’t have anything bigger than a large (I’m 5’7 and 170 pounds) the belt doesn’t fit, it shows all my rolls and even my bra line, so I used the hoodie for when I went to a con... The mask is also quite small so I just ordered a Ryan Reynolds mask to use since I’m not sure if any other mask would go with the suit. And at the time I thought it would be funny! I also had my sister make me a belt for me 😎 I’ve had the suit for a few months now and all of a sudden black streaks showed up on the costume. I don’t know if it’s from the suit itself because of the summer heat, but it makes me quite sad, it’s okay though it’s not super noticeable... I think? But honestly, if they have your proper size I HIGHLY recommend this! It has great quality for such a low price! ... show more

Last minute purchase. Shipped extra quick so i gave them an additional star. I’m 5’4 bottom heavy 165 lbs & purchased a large. Luckily it stretched so I could fit my butt & thighs. The top was too loose but it worked. I rated comfort a 3 because it’s like a sauna in that thing. Oh & I kinda hated the mask. It was slightly misaligned & difficult to breath. The belt fit kinda tight for the suit to be a large. My waist is a 30 sooo I’d say if you’re a 33 waist or bigger you may need to purchase a different belt. While the costume itself looked like it would be a great fit, once I put it on it was large in weird areas that I wouldn't be able to pull off. The mask was too small and would've squeezed my head and the belt was way too small for my waist. I went by the reviews and it said to order a size up from what you'd normally wear, so I ordered the medium. It was loose/big around the armpit area, the back, and stomach. I'm not sure if I needed to just be bulky all around for this to fit or what. I saw in the pictures that people had the belt above the bellybutton, which I thought was weird because it should sit on the waist. Now I know why. I was hoping to go out in it, but due to the costume not fitting well and local weather issues, I wasn't able to enjoy the costume. I'm sure if you wanted to go the extra mile and have it tailored you could, but I'm not going to do that for something that already costs more than $30 and spend more on it to make it fit. So, we let our 4-year-old pick out our Halloween costumes: Spiderman, Hulk, Iron Man, and then he chooses Deadpool for me! I like the movie (he won't be seeing it for at least a decade!), but it honestly wouldn't be my first choice. Then I bought this costume and promptly found out I was pregnant with baby #3! I was around 12 weeks at Halloween and already showing, the costume thankfully still fit and showed off my belly nicely, I just had to forego the belt! So we got a "super baby" onesie and made an announcement out of it! I did try it back on after I'd gotten back to my pre-pregnancy size and I could definitely wear it for a regular Halloween costume if I wanted to. My only complaints about this costume is that the eyes are just holes, no black whatsoever. Also, it's a bit long for me being 5'3 and needing petite short pants, but I just wore it with the legs bunched up a bit and it was fine. ... show more

I love this costume. They were out of smalls, so I went a size lower. Bad idea on my part — the moment I pulled the costume over my butt, the zipper busted. So I took a trip to the tailor, got a whole new zipper and now I love the fit. The mask is surprisingly comfortable. I’m very claustrophobic so I thought I would hate it, but it’s comfortable to wear. The mask only comes with a black mesh over the eyes that just doesn’t complete the look (shown in one photo) so I fixed the mask myself. For the price, I think it’s worth it, just be wary of the zipper and keep that in mind when you pick a size. The only reason I’m giving this four stars is because of the zipper and the mask. (Also ignore the bg mess in the photos pls & thnx) ... show more
