I like to have volume and this hairspray not only did not smell the way it should but made my hair flat and horrible looking. I usually purchase this product at the local ULTA store but decided to save myself a trip and order from Amazon. BIG MISTAKE!! I used it three times before I gave up. I have never had a bad purchase from Amazon until now. Don't know what happened but seems like product is mostly water!! I would return it but got rid of the box right away. Won't do that again! I am been so excited to order to get my order of Freeze and Shine Super Spray! A salon I once went to carried Paul Mitchell Products and they were excellent products. I used them for 5-6 years. I remember going out in a hurricane after my hair was styled and sprayed, and it barely MOVED! I noticed first thing about spraying this on my hair, it had been incredibly watered down. I was not sticky and firm like all the other Paul Mitchell sprays I have used over the years. I had read several other complaints from people's orders that said the same. I am furious, b/c now I am out the $18.00 for the spray, and now I have to find a salon who sells the product, and spend the money all over again. I'm really. really disappointed with this product, and I promise you I will never order here again. I will also warm all my friends about this inferior product. I am so sorry I ordered it on-line. I decided to order hair spray on Amazon because I wanted to save time from going to the store. I have used this product for many years and am familiar with the quality. This hairspray I received did not have a plastic seal and after using it, the spray does not provide the hold I am accustomed to. The product does not smell like the usual product I have purchased in the past. It almost feels like it has been watered down or tampered with. I find myself using 2 to 3 times more hair spray in order to keep my hair up. I would gladly return this and would like a full refund. I am very disappointed. ... show more

My hairstylist uses this on my hair and it does a great job, I am convinced this is not the real deal. It is watered down, not the same fragrance, sprayer is awful and almost streams out and flattens my hair immediately like I dumped water on it. My stylist told me to only buy from Ulta or somewhere legit and that is what I will do next time, total waste of money! ... show more

I have used Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine for several years and never had any problems. This product cause a severe rash and once I stopped using it the rash went away. You cant even request a return or refund. I had another bottle that was almost empty and the new one smelled nothing like it Wondering if it was tampered with?? Seller could at least offer a refund and I would happily return the unused portion. Been shopping Amazon for years first problem I have ever had. NOT HAPPY..!! I have used Paul Mitchell Hair Spray for 40 years. I ordered a bottle of Paul Mitchell Hair Spray from Amazon for the first time. The first thing I noticed was it "DID NOT" smell like a Paul Mitchell that I had smelled for 40-years..!! I thought the formula was changed. I used it and that night I started itching everywhere. I had an allergic reaction on my neck and shoulders..!! I thought it was something else causing the allergic reaction. Then the next day after using this Amazon Purchased Paul Mitchell Hairspray again, it happened again. I had an allergic reaction again. I have used this Paul Mitchell since 1980. I have 4-daughters that also used it. They all agreed it does not smell like Paul Mitchell. We compared it to another bottle that had some left. It is my opinion, and correct me if I'm wrong, that someone poured a generic hair spray into these bottles and sold it as a Paul Mitchell product..!! Amazon did give me a credit for this purchase. This product compared to when I purchase it at Ulta in their physical store was super watered down and I had to use three time what I normally use.I would not buy this product again.
