They make quality products and the price isn't as high as say Redken or Olaplex but works just as good, or for me better. My hair is silky without being weighed down and soft after use. I bought this in hope that the scent was the same as the original version I used when young. It's close but there's a small difference, still smells nice though! I usually use Nexxus' Therappe Humectress which I've never had to use conditioner with. The Paul Mitchell shampoo is much less conditioning, requires a conditioner afterward. I have always love this shampoo. I came back to it after trying other shampoos. I came back to this shampoo again and got my entire family hooked on it. The smell is wonderful and reminds me of Hawaii. It leaves my hair soft and full.

Have used PM Awapuhi Shampoo for multiple decades, recommended by my hair stylist. Nice not overpowering fragrance, and I find it cleanses hair and skin/scalp and doesn't seem to leave a residue. Definitely continue using PM Awapuhi shampoo!!!
