This does add a layer of comfort on your mattress, especially those who like a firm mattress. This enables you to have a firmer mattress if that's the support you need, but also provides a little cushion to take the edge off of the pressure points that can be irritated without the extra padding. It seems to help my shoulders, hips and ankles, since I tend to sleep on my sides. However, this is pitched as a cooling product, too. I have not found that to be the case. Quite the opposite, I feel a lot of heat under me with this pad. It's enough to ding it one star because I'd hoped it would help disperse some of the heat from my foam mattress. But it adds enough comfort to still recommend it -- unless your primary goal is to have a cooling pad. ... show more

I bought mine, used it for the first night (after letting it “air/fluff up” for a day or two) & was ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE!! My husband & I slept so well that 1st night that we bought 3 more for family the next day! And have continued to recommend them to everyone!! We were strongly considering & starting to shop for a new mattress- but this has rejuvenated our bed better than I can even describe. So, my bed wad already comfy. I love my bed and I make sure to get good EVERYTHING for her so I can be as comfy as possible. I saw this bamboo pad online and figured I'd give it a try. Omg, it takes my bed to the next level. I have surpassed, with flying colors, those really good comfy hotel beds.... if you ever stayed in a good hotel you would know that the bed is 100% perfect. It's soft but firm, it's just so comfy. I sleep all over... on my back, stomach, side, sideways, hanging off the side and she is comfy at all angles.
