If it doesn't hit 3600 mhz, it's probably not the memory. I have two kits they run happily at 3600 mhz, even stable at 3666 at 18 22 22 22 1.36 v

    • The heatsink is poorly designed and assembled
Size: Capacity: 32GB (2 x 16GB) 2666MHz Kit
first, the speed. Though labeled as running 2666MHz DDR, the actual memory clock is 1200MHz, about 10% less. It might be the board design can't guarantee the higher data rate, or the memory itself needs more precisely controlled board, either way, the extra money was not paid for the higher speed. Second, it is not easy to install in that my build requires a low profile memory where one side of this memory is 3mm too high. In the end the heatsink was trimmed off to fit the case instead returning and selection, but not a total satisfactory. Third is for the value for money. The truth to select a heat sink trim instead of returning was that the heatsink got off when analyzing the problem. The piece of metal was glued on with double sided tape not bearing anything related to heat dissipating. Thus the heatsink might contribute less help during intense heat from game, video editing etc. So far it is working, and I will keep an eye on it. ... show more

So far so good! Original ram was 16gb 3200 MHz, wasn’t exactly looking for something faster per say, but was looking for a good 32gb kit. This kit fit that requirement PLUS is a little bit faster at 3600 MHz! So far am really happy for the price of this, and the colors match my pc too so that’s an added bonus. Do want to add that when manually setting the speed, the system did crash twice. Changed over to the XMP profile and now it seems very stable. Only been running for a day but no crashes yet! Will update if something goes wrong. AWESOME ... show more

I'll start by saying I'm stupid and bought this 4000mhz max set for a motherboard that cannot handle over 2666mhz, that being said, I cannot test this RAM at its full potential. However, the price for the capacity and speeds are very good. The timings are slightly lazy but will not hamper your performance unless you are absolutely squeezing them to death with overclocks. Also, despite the timings, they do handle overclocks and timing changes well. Overall a very solid set for a mid-level build. ... show more
