Love this coaxial hits the mid bass like a champ with or without a dsp his sound clean a bit harsh when you run it at hi volume but you can tune it down but once you get it tune in it sounds awesome I’ve got 2 sets on a dsp and I love it been with this brand since he came out awesome brand and company for the price you can’t go wrong I even have his speakers running in my home I bet not much people know he also makes home audio speakers for surround sounds and they are awesome worth every penny and then some. ... show more

Fits in the rear doors of 2001 sequoia with a mounting bracket also sold here on Amazon. Sounds phenomenal. I'm not an audiophile but I do enjoy good sounding speakers. Running these in the rear and CT sounds meso 3 ways in the front with a high quality head unit.

Used for the back doors in Pickup truck and they sound great, are amplified by a Kenwood 5 channel and provide the fill needed for all around sound. I have the Meso 3 ways up front and are amplified as well. These 2 ways are great value and offer great sound quality for the price, seem to handle the 50 watts RMS from the amp and are a direct bolt in for this application. ... show more

I purchased the meso 6.5 coaxial’s and install them in my lower fairings on my 2005 Harley Davidson Electra glide as for fifth. They were perfect fit good sturdy quality the sound was amazing I am impressed with the base the meds, and especially the highs that the speakers provide, and for the price couldn’t be that I think they are well-made and well designed and make a good addition to my stereo system replacing other aftermarket speakers that had blown after seven months as for first impression, I will be switching out my other speakers to ct as soon as I figure out what direction I’m gonna go with them. ... show more

    • Very Nice Sounding Speakers!!
I ordered these to replace another bramd 6.5" speakers for my 2021 Harley Davidson Streef Glide Special bag speakers. What a difference, have an 8" Woofer in each bag and these basically added so much more bass and better sound quality. I used an RTA Pro and my DSP and wow theae are some amazing sounding speakers! Will get componemt set next to replace other 6.5's have in fairing and put tweeters where my mirrors use to be! Very good value for your money and clarity of the mid bass and highs are awesome, look good as well! ... show more

    • Crap tweeters (doesn't surprise me)
The good: - 6.5" woofer can handle some decent power - Larger voice coil - Larger magnet - Will go quite low with proper boxing and sealing (or porting) - Heavy duty basket -- albeit, heavy frame - Subwoofer style binding posts - Included 18 AWG wiring The terrible: - The tweeters are labeled "silk dome" -- they sound piercing and sharp (and overpowering) - Not a true 6.5" -- cutout is about 4mm smaller (sealing or blow-by or rattle issues) - The depth and magnet size may limit mounting locations (esp door mount) - The rubber surround + fiberglass cone combine to make these sound "contained" - Grills are fugly looking circa 1970s -- but fit nicely - Fiberglass cone may withstand moisture better -- but, kill the sound Bottom line - Made to go loud, handle some decent power, but the sounds that hit your ears is not that great. The Skar Audio 6.5" coaxials have better sounding woofers -- but even worse sounding tweeters. The NVX 6.5" coaxials have the BEST sounding tweeters, but weak woofers. - If all you want is some power handling and something that just makes sound, these will suffice. They can take some abuse, but at high volumes, the treble piercing is obnoxious. These CT Sounds 6.5" coaxials are made for caffeinated teens who only want loud. Very few car speakers have balanced and non-shrilly and overpowered sounding tweeters (NVX excluded) ... show more
