  • Cannot beat the value of this RAM
I had previously purchased the 2GB modules of RAM to upgrade the overal memory that originally came with my 27" iMac and it worked perfectly. The iMac came with 4GB and I was able to upgrade it to 8GB by purchasing two of those modules. I was very pleasantly surprised to find the huge price drop that these memory modules went through in less than 12 months. Because I have been looking forward to upgrade yet again the RAM in my iMac (this time going up to the max, which is 16GB) I ordered 4 of these modules. As soon as they arrived, I installed them and was really happy to see that my system responded very well to the new RAM. I do a lot of graphics and photography work and I used to hate it when either Photoshop or Corel Painter would slow down as I added more and more layers to the piece I was working on. Well, no more. I have worked with both programs opened while concurrently working in two separate pieces of work and there isn't a single hitch or hiccup. I wholeheartedly recommend this brand of RAM because both its performance and its value are unbeatable. ... show more

  • Everything I wanted - plus more!
My new HP tm2t came with a single 4GB PC3-10600. I wanted 8GB, but didn't want to pay HP's price for the second stick. Fortunately, Amazon listed and stocked this one. Same speed and configuration - so I get maximum performance with paired sticks. It came well-packed, felt solid, and installed cleanly. The unexpected bonus was a second package on the same order with a Patriot Xporter XT Boost 32 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive PEF32GUSB. I didn't expect that - and it's even better than a rebate. (C'mon - when the memory costs slightly more than $50 how much would a rebate be worth?) The convenience of a great USB drive helped me move some of the larger files between my old computer and my new one. Thanks, guys, for the early and unexpected Christmas present. ... show more

  • What's there to say? It's cheap and it works.
After my newest laptop's hinge broke, I ordered a new one. 4gb is usually workable, but when an upgrade to 8gb was just about $20, it's silly not to do it. It installed easily and cleanly, and it works just fine. Other than that ... well, it's memory. It is what it is - the biggest bang-for-the-buck you can get when spending money on your PC. Make sure you're getting the type that's right for your motherboard, make sure you're using a 64-bit OS, match it with any other memory already in the system, and you're pretty much set. ... show more

  • working well.. no problems
Not much to say here other than they work. These are a slight increase in MHz than what came with my laptop, but I can't really tell any difference. I bought these to maximise the memory in this laptop and it does just that. No errors, no warnings. Compatible and inexpensive. Good product.

  • Works great!
I bought this to add more memory to an old HP 2000 that I had just collecting dust. With that and a new battery the laptop works great. Makes for a very good second computer.

  • With this module, the chips...
...on the SODIMM are a different manufacturer than the original (in the laptop). But the compatibility/RAM timing is spot on for these modules and functions perfectly; tested thoroughly. MblTchXprt

  • Cheap and easy way to give an older laptop a second life.
Installed in an Acer Aspire V5-471 along with a 240gb SSD and a new battery, then installed Windows 10 Home 64-bit. This card doubled my RAM to 8gb. Combined with faster reading/writing of SSD, the laptop I bought 5 years ago for $280 now runs very well for utilitarian needs. I'm not a gamer so I have no constructive comments to add there. ... show more

  • Patriot Signature 4 GB PC3-10600 (1333 MHz) DDR3 SODIMM Notebook Memory PSD34G13332S
My sisters hp laptop started to have all kinds of problems and wouldn't even boot most of the time so I had to figure something out. I took it completely apart checking the fan and all of the connections and it turns out that on of her sticks of memory was causing all the of the problems I believe. It had a 4gb and a 2gb stick and I took the 2gb out first and it worked great so I decided to just bump the memory from 6gb to 8gb. There maybe could have been a better price out but from the little bit of searching I did, Amazon had a good price and I knew when it would arrive. After installing the memory, I think I had one more issues but after that, it seems like everything has been smooth sailing since and hoping that the computer will last her many more years to come. This has a lifetime warranty on it which makes it very simple if you ever have any issues with the memory. Patriot is a good name in the business also so you shouldn't have any problems getting it fixed. ... show more
