My puppy, Ruthie, is over 7 months old. She was driving me crazy with yipping and yapping for my attention, especially as soon as I was on the phone. Instantly, the solution came with a quick tone or a vibration from her new training collar. I have never had to resort to a shock. The device is wonderful and effective. As an added bonus, a quick signal from the Patpet helps settle her excitement when greeting people and pets. The collar was easy to fit my 8 lb. pup. Charging is quick and simple. My only concern is the battery life on the collar receiver. The charge has lasted less than a day even when she’s not worn it more than 4 hours. I’m assuming it’s my user error not being conscientious about turning off the power. I really appreciate that I now have a gentle and effective way to discourage unwanted behavior. I would highly recommend this product!

They work well, stay charged for long periods and I haven’t even used shock but they don’t like vibration. So they are not barking out of control as they had been doing.

My partner and I got our first younger pup together. He’s almost 2 years and a VERY smart dog, so smart he feels he doesn’t always have to listen to verbal commands (lol). We were mainly struggling on working with his constant barking/chasing our cat whenever she went in/out of any room we were in (never aggressive, but it was excessive & she does not like it!). We were recommended a training collar and I stumbled upon this specific model of Patpet collars. It seemed to have the best reviews so we ordered as soon as we could! This training collar is AMAZING! Not only has the barking subsided to almost none, he now (for the most part) leaves the cat alone! We’ve had the collar for a little over a week and can already see huge progress! The whole time, we’ve kept the prongs off and have only used the vibration/tone on the remote. The instructions were very clear and everything is visibly packaged. The size customization on this collar is great too, fit our 40lb mix with a good amount of slack to spare (which we just tucked into the adjuster so it wouldn’t flap/bother him). I love how I can customize the level of vibration and am so happy with the lock feature. I am able to keep the remote on me when we work with the collar on and not worry about accidentally setting it off. I couldn’t be happier with the results, as I also feel he is responding to verbal commands a lot more consistently than before. HIGHLY recommend this collar & brand!

The controller/clicker isn’t as small as it says it is. I have another expensive collar/clicker set for my other dog. The controller/clicker that is much smaller. However, it cost almost $300 for that set. This is an excellent price for this device and works every bit as well for a fabulous price. This works very well. Reading the instructions will help you. You do not need to pair the two devices. They are already factory set to one another. Set your devices. to the lowest settings until the dog reacts. It works very well for training. Make sure you use your commands with the collar: sit, stay, down, leave it, etc. You cannot train your dog with these collars without using the commands at the same time. The dog will not know how to respond and will not know what you want and will continue to misbehave or be unresponsive. if you have a dog club or trainer in your area, it would be very beneficial to work with a trainer with this collar in the beginning to help you train your dog. I am very pleased with this collar. I am using it on a miniature schnauzer at 5 pounds. He is four months old at the time of this review. I like having the choice of using the vibrating sensor, the beeper, or the static electricity to get his attention with his commands. He is reacting very well to this device. The nylon collar is huge and is made to fit any size dog. I did cut the nylon collar down to fit his neck; I burned the end of the trimmed nylon collar with a match to prevent it from unraveling. Knowing that he is going to grow, I left about 3 inches on the collar so I can expand the collar to grow with him.

Was hoping this would function for a big fluffy dog but it didn't. Even with the addition of extra long prongs which come with this unit the shock feature had no functionality and would not make proper enough contact with the dog to produce any shock. But thankfully she is skiddish enough the vibration mode has enough effect on her. Overall device is better constructed with really easy operation despite having a lot of features. Great battery life and very compact.

I have two large dogs and one small dog. My large dogs could wear other brands but it was hard to find a small enough collar for my 10lb dog. This fit great. Not too big, bulky or heavy. It has 3 setting options which I love as well. Haven’t had to use the shock park because the beep and the vibrate has been enough. It’s working working well to train my dog and as you can see we go in the woods a lot so it’s a bit dirty but it has held up nicely. It’s water resistant because we run through rivers in the woods and it’s still going strong. The range works well too where I let me dogs go as as away from me until I can’t see them. Over all 5 out of 5. We’ve used it every day since I got it a month ago
