I got this for use with my father, who has early stage dementia. He is also a very large man with spinal and leg issues that has started to limit his mobility. This wasn’t exactly easy to assemble and I recommend being prepared to build it yourself if you’re using with the elderly. It took my husband and I about 40 mins to put together properly. The frame on this is sturdy, stable and wide, perfect for larger frames. It does present some maneuverability issues, especially in smaller spaces however. My parents bathroom is too small for this to be used in, which does limit some of its usefulness. My mother is able to use it will my dad in the main living areas of the home though, and it has made life for her a bit easier. The padding on this is a little lacking, making it a bit uncomfortable for long term sitting. We mainly use it for transporting room to room so it isn’t a large issue for us. The wheels roll smoothly and the lift lever is easy to use. Overall we’re happy with this, as it helps give my parents some autonomy in their home, and for that reason I would buy again. Competitively priced.

Was extremely hard to use it in the bathroom it wouldn’t open and closing also was very very hard! This did not rise up to put her on the bed. Was a hassle for the patient and the caregiver!!! Very sharp points very close to the shins which could cut open the skin. It took us 4 hours for two people to put it together. You cant bend the patient to clean or wipe their but. Super hard for small powder rooms!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND PUT THE PATIENT AND YOUR SELF INTO STRESS!!

My only complaint about this chair is the tray that’s supposed to snap in place doesnt fit the width of the chair poles so you can’t snap it into place properly. Very disappointing on that front but everything else about the chair works perfectly. The wheels glide easily regardless of height and weight making it easy to transport your patients. The frame of the chair is heavy duty and doesn’t bow or lean so the weight of the patient is evenly distributed.
