basically went with this speaker bar because it was 50% off the regular price. The earlier reviews were mixed but for the price it was on par with more expensive options. So far so good for my needs in a small studio apartment with great acoustics. Wall mounted mine in less than 10 minutes and now the movies I watch, and my playlist, are more robust. Don't need the additional subwoofer because it's just not necessary for my needs. This sound bar works amazing! Very easy to set up and the sound quality is great. I mainly use the optical setting for watching tv. However, the bluetooth setting is great and paired easily with my phone.

Spend another $70.00 and end your search. I am returning mine! Well built, looks nice and has good sound. Do you remember the reasons you purchased a sound bar? I don't believe you will find it here. Look under the seat cushions, floor mats, change jar etc. Find a extra fifty or so, maybe even $80.00 and be done with your search. You won't find it in this component. ... show more

    • Not bad for game play or short online videos. Not for theatre experience.
It is perfect for watching videos or playing games. I wouldn't get it for a cinematic experience as it doesn't handle the content you would want to hear fairly loud (like music or a full-length movie).
