  • Absolutely love these nailers
I've been using these nailers to shoot on LP smart trim, and different types of paneling, so far I haven't had any issues with nails jamming, the guns work flawlessly, highly recommend

  • Mostly good.
I've been using Paslode cordless nailers for decades, ever since the ITW black series. The guns are great, particularly for renovation and repair work where convenience takes precedence over production. This nailer is no different...it's a great portable gun that performs well for small tasks. I would opt to use the Paslode PS225 for larger siding and fencing jobs. This coil nailer has a coil fastener capacity of 200 nails. Paslodes 300 count coils will not fit this gun. The Paslode case has compartments for an extra coil of nails + a coil loaded in the gun. There's also a spot for two fuel cells and safety glasses. The safety glasses, one battery, and battery charger are included with the nailer, but there are no fuel cells or nails. The nailer has a depth adjustment, and there's an extra nose guard stored on the side. The gun is powerful and does a good job setting the small, thin heads on the siding nails. It's heavier than its pneumatic cousin, even with the smaller coil of nails. Loading nails is quick and easy, and this Paslode nailer is a great tool when replacing a few boards in a hurry. ... show more

Paslode 7V 2 In. Cordless Siding & Fencing Nailer Kit Review I recently got the Paslode 7V 2 In. Cordless Siding & Fencing Nailer Kit, and it has quickly become a reliable tool in my outdoor construction projects. Here’s my take on it: Performance: The nailer is extremely efficient and drives nails consistently without jams. Its cordless design makes it convenient to use on fences and siding without being tethered to an air compressor. The 7V battery provides enough power for several hours of work on a single charge. Ease of Use: Weighing just the right amount to feel sturdy but not cumbersome, the nailer is comfortable to handle. The cordless design makes it easy to maneuver in tight or elevated spaces. Loading nails is simple, and the depth adjustment is straightforward. Battery and Fuel: The 7V rechargeable battery lasts a surprisingly long time, and the quick recharge keeps downtime minimal. Combined with its fuel cell system, it’s ready for extended projects without frequent interruptions. Build Quality: Paslode delivers a durable, well-built tool that feels like it can handle the wear and tear of regular outdoor use. The grip is ergonomic, and the nailer feels balanced in hand. Pros: Cordless operation for easy mobility Consistent nail driving with minimal jams Lightweight and comfortable to use Long-lasting 7V battery Durable construction Cons: Replacement fuel cells can add to the long-term cost Not ideal for extremely heavy-duty commercial jobs Overall Rating: 4.5/5 If you’re a DIYer or professional looking for a reliable siding and fencing nailer, the Paslode 7V 2 In. Cordless Kit is an excellent choice. It saves time, improves mobility, and performs well on most residential projects. ... show more

  • Surprised how much faster this cut my job
This nailer turned what I expected to be a five day siding job into four days, and that kind of time savings does not happen by accident with tools like this. I have used a fair share of pneumatic nailers over the years, and switching to a cordless setup with its own battery and charger meant I was not fighting hoses or waiting on a compressor to catch up, which let me keep moving from one section of fencing to the next without much downtime. The straight nail coil feed kept things simple, no jamming or fumbling to reload mid task, and the battery held up through a full day of steady use before needing a charge. One thing I noticed, just as an observation and not a complaint, is that the tool has a bit more heft than the compressor guns I am used to, though after an hour or so I stopped thinking about it. For a job that leans on repeat firing all day long, this kept up without slowing me down or needing a break to cool off or reset. I would call the four day finish the real proof of how efficient it ran, and that is not something I say about every tool that comes through my garage. ... show more

  • Just stick with a pneumatic siding nailer
dry fires a lot, the pin sticks at least 60% of the time, if the batteries get real cold, they lose all charge.
