  • Light weight; easy to maneuver
I absolutely suck at driving nails - especially 3-1/4 inch construction nails. And don't even get me started on toe-nailing. One trigger pull and the nail goes in where you want it. I have some walls to build and other construction projects planned around the farm and this tool is worth it's weight in gold. ... show more

  • Best tool I've ever had
This little thing is a BEAST! I bought it because I was going to replace my old fence around my two acre property and looking for something portable and cordless. I found this on a search and researched reviews and decided to spend the money. After reading how to properly use it, I was very impressed. I also built a privacy fence around my backyard closer to my house. I use 3½, 2⅜, and 2 inch nails and this did the job in more than half the time and a lot safer. The big nails fasten the 2x4's to the 4x4's and the 2" ringshank are great for the pickets. I haven't had a misfire yet but I'm sure it won't be bad to clear it up. Overall, this is the best time saver because otherwise, I would have had to get a generator, gas for the generator, plug in an extension cord for the compressor, roll out an air hose, oil for the compressor, deal with the loud noise and air pollution and when finished, put all that back up. With this lil beast, just charge the battery, put it back in the case and DONE! And shooting in the pickets, it's like POW POW... POW POW... POW POW... next one! Dang, I really, really love this Paslode XP. It's the best tool I've ever had. It's safer, faster, and cleaner when it comes to working. Yeah you have to buy nails and fuel cells but to me, it's more than worth it. It beats screwing in screws or pounding nails and hitting your fingers or holding fasteners in your mouth. My advice? Don't be a cheapskate. Spend that money and you won't be sorry. I actually take pride in it and feel like a BOSS when I'm using it. Even my wife thinks more highly of me ;) ... show more

  • Good price
This is my second paslode framing nail gun. First one was a 25 year old first off model. This one is much lighter and built much better. Arrived early and extremely well packaged.

  • Best cordless nailer on the market
Just purchased my second one of these and got a nail jammed in it. Was about to call Paslode for service, then I read the instructions. Only had to loosen two screws to open the gun to allow me to pull the jammed nail out...AWESOME...back in business. This is also the lightest cordless nailer on the market I just researched them all. The new 18V Ryobi doesn't even stack up coming in at 10 lbs. If you want to go cordless this is your gun. ... show more

  • Paslode’s best.
Having used older versions of this tool for 20+ years, this version seems to solve any of the older problems. The lithium battery lasts, and is easily turned off between uses. All the adjustments are easy and the power is excellent. The best of all the brands.

  • Was just what I needed
I have been using Paslode as far back as I can remember. I have been in the plumbing trade since the 80's. Always wanted one, and now I own one. They have improved over the years and only gotten better in my opinion. It works as advertised and the case is solid enough for what I use it for....light to medium framing around on the property here. Always trusty to have on the 4 wheeler when I am on the property getting things done. Worth the money in my opinion. ... show more

  • Tip gets stuck after 7 days of normal use-never dropped
I'm framing my own house and I bought this nail gun after seeing others use it on YT. Started off great. I'm posting this review, because after only 7 DAYS of use, the tip is already getting stuck in the firing position. Not only does this mean I have to manually pull the tip back out, but I can hear my $14/cannister, gas canister leaking out the whole time it's stuck. I've never dropped this gun. And it's only been 7 days. I need to be working right now, but I'm here at home trying to find videos on how to fix my brand new nailing gun. When it worked, it was great. But if a new gun is going to start malfunctioning after 7 days, you should consider another brand. Very disappointed at the moment. EDIT: after taking the tip mechanism apart, I found a shiny screw, which apparently unscrewed itself and started blocking the mechanism from retracting. (Paint rubbed off, which made it shiny silver instead of black painted). The allen wrench that came with the gun tightened it back down. But after another hour of use, it started unscrewing and getting in the way again. So now I have to keep the allen wrench with me at all times. It's an easy fix, but it took some figuring out and shouldn't be necessary with a new gun. EDIT 2: One of these hex-head screws has now unscrewed itself and is lost forever. Can't find a way to buy a replacement. There were two screws holding the tip/trigger and now with only one, it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. If this thing was a year old, then sure, that's the kind of thing I'd expect. But I've used this for 11 total days and it's already dropping parts during normal use. ... show more
