I don't usually write reviews unless it is deserving, positive or negative. So far this is a good E-Bike. We bought two of them one the wife and one for me. The value is fairly priced compared the the local E-Bike dealer that sells them starting at $2,999. The assembly was fairly straight forward, it took about 30 minutes each. Right after assembly we took them out on a 10 mile ride on pavement and off road. The bikes handled well on pavement and did pretty well off road, I even took some 10"-15" jumps and the rear suspension did rather well. That's all I could handle at this time, as I am 65 y/o but still think I'm 25. You will have to adjust the brake levers, gear shifter and the throttle lever to the position of your liking, after you take it out for your first test ride and get a feel for their positions. Easy to do with a common metric allen-wrench set. The Gears work well with no issues so far. The PAS really helps out with the pedaling, it takes about 2 revolutions of the pedals and then you feel it kick in, or you can just use the throttle paddle. It is an odd feeling at first but after a few trips it just feels kind of natural. I have had my bike in 9th gear, PAS-5 and pedaling like heck and have reached/sustained 27 mph on flat ground, which seems pretty fast on a bike. My wife loves her bike she uses pedal power more than I, but really enjoys the return trip using the PAS when she gets tired. We like that the battery slide into the frame. It give the bike a clean look. But it does make it a little hard to remove or insert. But it is not that difficult. We don't really like the ones that are on the outside, they are sort of an eye sore. Overall this is a good E-Bike so far for the first 175miles, Pro's: +Fairly easy to assemble. + Good Value + Seems to be fairly sturdy ++ battery is mounted inside the frame and removeable. ++ Hydraulic disc brakes ++ Battery lasts at least 20 miles ++ PAS works great + Descent front light + Tires are OK for our riding style Con's: Battery is a little awkward to remove, but understandable being it's in the frame - No rear wired light - Two identical bikes, two different tire brands ??? - Could have came with Slime Inner Tubes -- Instrument Display very hard to see in sun light -- Could have came with some cheap plastic fender to prevent upward debris splatter. - Company could offer accessories i.e. rear rack that actually attach to the rear frame not the seat post. ... show more

Update- I was out on a ride today and noticed that the front shocks were flat. Tried adjusting them but nothing worked they kept dropping. I decided to egeage the lock on the shock which took a few minutes to engage the shocks in the locked position so I could ride it home. I did like the feel of it locked which I'll probably ride more often that way. Contacted Paselec customer service and they got back to me within minutes. Got a new fork set coming. Won't be here for 10 days but the resolution to my issue was handled beyond anything I expected. Still a quality bike and the customer service is outstanding! I tell you this. I've been shopping around for eMtb's for a month now. I been to bike shops and plenty of websites researching bikes. What I found is that the GS6 is by far more bang for your buck. With the full suspension and all the electronic features you can't go wrong purchasing one of these babies. So far I'm at around 30 miles and got up to a top speed of 30.3 mph while peddling my butt off and a top speed of 28 using only the electric feature. My first trip was 18 miles with a loss of 2 bars and on my way home with the bikes ability to recharge the battery while coasting it went up an additional bar. Get one you won't be disappointed. 250 miles on my bike. I found that it's so heavy that it can be very difficult to pedal without using the assist mode. It's a very decent mid lovely bike. I ride it a ton but I'm already looking for something different and more agile. 398 miles and the back brakes stopped working today. I'm going to get in for service at the local bike shop. They work if you pump them so I'm thinking it's air in the line. I will tell that for the price I paid which was around 1k this has been a great investment by far. I purchased my E bike in March of last year. I am not a mountain bike rider but a road bike rider. This bike has suppressed all of my expectations and more. The battery life is a lot more than I expected, and the get up and go will knock your hat or helmet off. I did have to wait a bit for the delivery, but it was well worth it. It is a fabulous bike.
