    • My favorite cheap pen
I'm a poor stationery fan. I enjoy looking at fancy Japanese stationery and dreaming of all the cool things I could buy, if I wasn't so poor. So I settled for these instead. I find them comfortable both in grip and weight. The tip slides over notebook paper smoothly, which is important to me because I loathe "scratchy" pens. I'm old fashioned, so I take all of my notes in school using paper and pen. These are my favorite pens to take notes with in class because I find them so easy to write with. There are a couple problems I've had with them which I've noticed. Some of them are faulty and a little leaky, but it is only noticeable when you're bored and you start taking the pen apart and the ink stains your fingers. Most of the pens don't have this issue. I think they might run out of ink quickly as well, or I just write a lot. I've never used all the ink in a pen before this semester, when pretty much all of these pens began to run dry. I've only used them for taking notes in school and doing homework, but maybe that's just the nature of gel pens. Also, the ink smears because it will remain wet on the page for a little while after being laid down. It isn't a very long amount of time, maybe a few seconds at most and it depends on the paper texture. They work fine in my notebooks, and I don't really rub my hands all over the pages right after I wrote something, so I don't notice it often. If you like these, check out the pack with all the different colors. I'm too lazy to use lots of different colors in my notes, so I just stick with black ink. ... show more

These are my favorite everyday push top pens and they are resonably priced. I buy them over and over again. I believe there are refills for sale, but they are almost as much as the pens, so I don't use them.

I have some trouble with mild arthritis and a poor healing knuckle injury - these pens are great. Easy to hold and the ink flows effortlessly. The Med is good - not over sized ink on the paper and not scratchy fine point, either. Just right. I do have to be careful with the gel ink on very smooth note cards, it'll smear until it fully dries. On regular paper these are smear proof immediately after writing. ... show more

I found out about these pens last year when I was a college student. I journal A LOT, and when I say A LOT, I mean it. It's a daily thing that I do. So, I am always trying to find great writing pens and when I found these I was very excited! They are FANTASTIC!!!! And the color options are great too!
