    • I love these pens, but occasional duds
I am a lefty notetaker who handwrites my class notes during class using multiple colors. I am a longtime user of Inkjoy pens, and often use up the whole ink cartridge with how much I write. Compared to other gel pens, the InkJoy pens are wonderfully smooth and the ink is bold (except for maybe the light green). The ink does not bleed, and the words come out very legible. I am not so sure about this batch of pens, though. They occasionally won't write, and then I have to run them a few times on another sheet of paper to get it running again, which is not ideal since I need to write really fast to catch up with the prof. I hadn't had this problem with the other Inkjoys, which might be why this one is cheaper? In my notes I mostly use red, blue, and black and occasionally light green since I have to scan my notes. The purple and dark green are usually too dark for the scanner to distinguish. The red and the pink and orange are similarly too similar. Teal and blue also rather close, but somewhat differentiable. Yellow is actually decent in the scanner, but it's yellow, so fewer use cases. ... show more

PaperMate creates some really colorful and vibrant pens. The first pack of colorful pens I bought from them were retractable....I loved how smooth and vibrant they were so I ordered this pack. Pros: Multiple colors to choose from (10); Vibrant colors that Pop; Writes smoothly and easy to grip. Cons: Out of the (10) colors, Yellow and Lite green are the lighter of the colors; The colors write smooth, but at times they skip while writing (which can be a bit annoying), but not enough to return; I wish the grip was made a little more cushion like; it looks soft but is harder to the touch; I loved the retractable pens Way better...the caps on some pens are loose and have the potential of popping off easily. Yet, overall the pens are cool and do the job!! ... show more

Love the way the write, but hate that the caps slip off so easily. I lost a few without even noticing!😠😭 A few of them are kind of choppy or act like they’re out of ink when they’re not because they just started being used.

I'm left handed and always had the problem of smearing the gel. I finally found a gel pen that doesn't smear.

Love these pens because they write smoothly and don’t skip. My only issue is with the caps. When the pen is in use, the cap doesn’t stay on the end. Slips off.
