This bed is gorgeous and exactly what i was looking for. Comes in a large box (140lbs) as an FYI. Had to open the box up and carry it up the stairs piece by piece. It was packaged very well and even though the outside of the box had a dent, the bed wasn't damaged at all. I put this thing together on my own within 2 hours. It was a little hard to get it all together without help but possible. It is nice and sturdy and fits my new 14 inch mattress PERFECTLY. This looks like a much more expensive bed. I have been looking for a bed to fit our new adjustable base king size bed. The ones I liked were not compatable. I took a chance and ordered this bed. So happy I did. It is beautiful and was easy to put together. And the price was great compared to the big box stores.

    • Not made well at all.
Beautiful bed, but whoever placed the holes for screws did a terrible job. We wasted hours in our new home, tired, at midnight trying to make it work. My husband was going to drill new holes just so we could sleep, but the cheap wood began to split. Glad we were able to get our money back.

Don't over tighten the screws as you're putting this thing together. The bed is sturdy and it looks just like the picture. However, two of the screw holes didn't align so I didn't put two screws in. The bed is still sturdy as these screws had really nothing to do with structure.

55 year old handy single woman…Soft, elegant, no odor, quick delivery, holes unaligned. The worst part was when i started using the incorrect size screws as the package of screws bursted out of its packaging during delivery. Otherwise it was easy. I had to widened the holes lucky i had my Ryobi drill kit. Had i had help i would of been able to push the parts together and tighten the screws with no major issues with alignment . I purchased a taller metal frame due to my son 6.7 but the bed frame did not fit around it. Unless i need those extra hands to screw it together. Will update pic of the metal frame. Good buy in terrific packaging for delivery. ... show more

This bed SURPASSED my expectations! However, the assembly instructions aren’t worth a doggone. Had to have my movers put the bed together. 3 professionals and they struggled with it! Lord knows I would’ve probably had a nervous breakdown trying to put it together on my own. Anyway, this bed is beautiful. It looks expensive and it is very sturdy. I am over 300 pounds myself but this bed is big people friendly. Glad I purchased it. BUY IT! But make sure you have some help putting it together. :) ... show more
