This bed is absolutely beautiful and turned out to be exactly what I wanted. It arrives in a large, heavy box (around 140 lbs), so be prepared for that. I ended up opening the box downstairs and carrying the pieces up one at a time. Everything was packed securely, and even though the box had a small dent, all the parts inside were in perfect condition. I assembled it by myself in about two hours. It took a bit of effort to line everything up without an extra set of hands, but it was definitely doable. Once put together, the bed feels solid and stable, and my 14-inch mattress fits it perfectly. It has the look and quality of something much more expensive. This bed is beautiful! All parts were there and there was no smell. Issues were the instructions suck and 2 holes for the side studded pieces didn’t line up at all on the bottom, so I just left them out. They don’t affect the structure of the bed at all though. The headboard doesn’t seem as tall in real life though. I definitely recommend this bed, and most importantly NO SQUEAKS!!! ... show more
