Thanks papajet! Mattress size needed: 14 inches is perfect, 12 inches would be a little low, anything over 14inches takes away from the headboard and pillow effect. If you are skeptical don’t be like I was lol! This bed Frame is beautiful, and solid.. the details on the bed are superb! The bed arrive on time. The installation was about 2+ hours however my Husband said it would have been faster if they had included an extra L wrench I could have helped, and he said the size of wrench slowed down installation. Easy to assemble I had some trouble on the head board but other then that it’s simple, and looks really nice, nothing came damaged or broken my only complaint is mine didn’t come with instructions at all.

I am a woman and I was able to assemble it by myself for the most part. It looks great and is sturdy. I have a 12inch mattress, no box spring, and it looks fine when the bed is made since pillows hide the bottom headboard part. 10/10.
