These dumbbells are “as described“. Very nice set of weights, they came in three different boxes, one of the boxes came a little later than the other two. Setting up the rack was pretty easy. I used a socket wrench and an open end wrench and it worked great. I have to admit, the boxes that the weights came in were pretty beat up. But, the weights themselves came through with flying colors. No scratches or dings, everything looked great. I read other reviews about the weights having a smell about them. Mine did too, but it wasn’t too bad. I just let them air out for a few days and they’re OK now. The weights feel pretty comfortable in my hands. They’re a little bit tight on the rack, so just be careful with your fingers when you put the weights back into the rack. The weights look good. They definitely do what they’re supposed to do. I have a small little workout area in one of my bedrooms and they do not take up too much room. One thing that I really need to stress here is that the customer service for this company is outstanding. They kept in touch with me the whole way through the shipping process to make sure I got my weights. I did have an issue with some little push pins (they hold the plastic guards on the stand) that were broken or missing, I contacted the company and they sent me replacement pins. In fact the pins arrived the same day, the third box of weights showed up. This company really stands behind their product, and I’m so glad that I dealt with them and that they were so easy to work with. Thank you.

Alright, im going to clear the air for the folks looking in to these. First off, this set comes in 3 different boxes and on consecutive days, or a couple days apart. You might get the small set and the stand, then the 20&25 lb the next, or visa versa. So its really not a big deal. Second, they do have a smell. Its a new rubber smell, not "chemicals" like some claim. If you have ever been to a gym, a tire shop, etc., then you know exactly what they smell like. It will dissipate in a few days. It will help if you wipe them off with a wet rag when you unpack them. The stand is on the cheaper side. For the money I spent on this set I feel that the stand shouldve been better. The dowels that hold the plastic cover over the bar seat popped out. Luckily I found them in the box. So if you're missing them, check all the bags and boxes. It teeters a little when put together but again, not a huge deal unless your ocd. Assembly is easy and quick, it only takes a bit of common sense, a couple wrenches and or sockets. The communication with the seller is superb. I contacted them at 7pm last night wondering where the 20 & 25 sets were. By the time I woke up this morning they had sent an email back containing the tracking number for the set. Overall, I am extremely happy with them. The grip is ergonomic and comfortable in the hand. They weigh what they should and regardless of the cheapness of the rack, it holds them sturdily. So it does the job. Hope this helps

When the products arrived they came in 2 different boxes, on 2 different days. Each box had a tracking #, so don't be alarmed if u only get 1 box at first. Everything came nicely packaged, no damage to the boxes as well. Upon opening it and inspecting the weights, I did notice a few scratches, nothing major. I also notice there was a sticky film on the weights, maybe it's how it has to be packaged...again not a big issue. There wasn't a strong odor neither. At first, as I was putting the base together I noticed that the bolt n nut didn't exactly "fit"...I started to freak out and said omg they sent me the wrong parts....I went searching online looking at the reviews and some customers said they were given the incorrect Nuts and bolts, leading to the stand being wobbly. So i was like great, I got a bad batch. I'm a single mom and have minimal experience with tools....so I decided to go to a local home depot and I asked for help. It turns out the nuts and bolts were just fine, all I need were 2 items, which can be seen in the 2nd picture. A wrench to hold 1 end stead and the drill to tighten the other end and boom it worked. So no wobbly stand for me.....like othwr customers complained about. I was so happy.... Im pretty sure most of you guys knew that, but for those out there who have minimal tool experience, there's a tip for you 😉. The instructions don't say anything about using tools. It's just a picture and screws,bolts, n nuts...which makes it seem like u can do it by hand, no tools needed. Anywho, the end product turned out great and the dumbell set is awesome. I would definitely recommend to a friend 🧡
