This is the perfect size for a hybrid fire pit. Meaning that you can use it on a table or on the ground. Holds about 5lb. of pellets and burns from lighting to no flame above the rim for about 1 hr 15 min. That's 9-10 total hours of relaxing in front of the fire time out of a $6-7 bag of pellets. In comparison, my largeer 15" fire pit holds about 25lb and burns about the same amount of time. So, if it's just the wife and I chilling it makes more sense to use this one. ... show more

We've used this once. It assembled very easily. Looks nice. Perfect size for car camping or backyard patio. Yes, no smoke and very little ash. There were some metal burrs on the punch out vent holes. Fire pit was larger than others in price range, easy to light and gets plenty hot. Burns strong and looks great, perfect for making s'mores. Came with several accessories including glove, 2 neat marshmallow holders, carrying case, and poker/ashtray lifter. I definitely recommend hardwood pellets for a strong, near smokeless fire that burns for quite some time. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is actually my second of the “smokeless” style fire pit. I have a 21” stainless steel pit which works great, big enough for ten people, but burns about ten pounds of pellets per hour. I bought this small 9” pit for when I am by myself or just a friend or two and you don’t need a huge pit. It works perfect for this need and takes about 5 lbs of pellets per hour to keep a nice flame.
