I'm running 12 AA's at a time in 2 Spartan Trail Cameras. They are placed on feeders and taking 200 to 500 photos per day each. The cameras will run 2 to 3 weeks before the voltage drops significantly. Fortunately these cameras will run 3 to 4 more days beyond this point. This works great for me because I live at the property. I have 2 sets of batteries for each camera. The only negative has been it takes about 2 cycles to get this battery life. Maybe the cycle life will get longer? These batteries have impressed me at this point.

Li-ion batts last a long time 3500 ma. They put out full voltage right until dieing unlike other rechargeables that die slowly. They don't self discharge over time even with out use like other rechargeables. NiMh batts self discharge in as little as 1 month. Li-ion batts last 6-7 months. You can recharge them up to 1600 time, not 200 like other batts. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because the "smart" charger isn't smart enough to turn it's light of after charging which is bright and annoying at night. Get the charger that only have the 4 LEDs and not the display.

Liked the first set I bought a month ago, now bought this one with slightly upgraded charger. These measure 1.51 volts and rated on battery as 3500 mAh. As a comparison, well reviewed Panasonic Eneloop white batteries measure 1.35 volts with rating of 1900 mAh. Eneloop Black batteries also measure 1.35 volts but with a rating of 2450 mAh. Both Panasonics are great batteries, but these Kratax AA's have both a higher output voltage AND have considerably higher energy density at 3500 mAh. A BIG PLUS with 84% more capacity than Eneloop whites! Came nearly fully charged and topped off in about 15 min. Just plug in any USB charger. Comes with short cable. Nice

Charger works great to recharge these batteries, but I feel like I am charging them all the time. The lifespan per battery for a single charge is significantly less than a regular battery, but this lasts longer in the long run. Just wish they stayed charged longer.

I liked that has the display to know if the batteries are charged, if the batteries are ready to use, or are in the middle. Really works well this charger, and I'm using it continuously.

Lithium is a way better alternative to Alkaline if your devices will work with it (and most should) because it's not prone to leaking the way Alkaline batteries leak. The charger is excellent and accurate. I haven't had enough time to say whether the batteries last as long as other rechargeable Ni-Cad or similar style batteries, but I am encouraged by the results so far! I am using these in my electronic deadbolt, so I am hoping to get at least 3 months on a charge.
