I removed 1 star because it is poorly packaged for shipping. The pencils were loose in box, the charcoal also loose and smutted the blender stumps. Outside of that it is a nice set, has everything you need for graphite work.

This arrives in a box as pictured, but the box is too flimsy. The plastic tray inside is even more flimsy. So, 90% of the items inside were displaced from where they should have been located in the tray, and I could not slide the tray out of the box. The box was bowed out, and the plastic was too flimsly to hold firmly to pull. I got the tray out and it bends a lot when I pick it up, so everything keeps coming out of it. Its a shame because there is no good way to store this stuff without just putting it all in a bag. They DEFINITELY should have AT LEAST made the tray firm enough to stay rigid when you pick it up. You could not give this as a gift because of the reasons mentioned above which is a shame because the items themselves surely could be useful to a budding artist or person who wants to or loves to draw. There is similarity but not consistency on how much the pencils were sharpened.. some sharpened to a point, others sharpened 3/4 of that. One has the lead fallen out of the end as if it were sharpened too much. 1/3 of them have wood nearly to the end of the lead even though they are sharpened. Im not sure what causes that, but its a pain in the neck. I would not recommend this set unless it is inexpensive enough to justify making due with the troublesome lead/points/tips and no tray to keep any of the supplies in. I think the products themselves are do-able.
