The glitter pens write smooth and easy opaque ink. Very nice. The plain color pens aren't as nice. They write very thin, and some require extra effort. My red pen is very thin but after a little while of use it releases better. But after a minute of real use the ink begins to flow better. Some of the plain colors are not that great for me because they are somewhat bland and mix with itself weirdly. Definitely not opaque ink on the default colors. At first, I liked this pen set but after trying all the pens, I LOVE IT!! WOW!! I'm impressed! It comes with 5 different kinds of gel pens: metallic, neon, glitter, swirl, & regular gel pen. Some pens skipped a bit when they first arrived, but I found a trick that fixed them right away: wet the tip of the pen very slightly, then rub it against the bottom of any shoe. If you do this, most pens will work out great! Every pen in this set is a different color, 130 indicidual colors!! This is a multicolored set of gel ink like pens that are perfect for coloring in adult coloring books. The colors looks good, the pens are easy to hold, and the ink is smooth. The problem I have, though, is that each pen has a limited amount of ink, so it dries out quickly. You need to take this into account when coloring so you don't run out of the color you might need.
