These are a very nice set of markers -- especially for beginners who are starting to play around with Zentangle drawings. For the price, they work extremely well. Some tended to dry out a bit quicker than I had hoped but I did get a lot of use out of them -- I draw about four hours a day. I'm very pleased with this set and will order more for gift-giving. I would like to see the company offer bulk sets of the .05 and 1.0 pens as these are used a lot and dry out more quickly than others. I purchased them to replace the sharpie my granddaughter was using to draw with because I was sensitive to the chemical smell from the sharpie. I thought I'd try my hand at ink drawing. I got more pens for the money with this brand than with the popular Micron brand. I haven't used Microns, so I can't compare them directly. They're nice though, I'm really enjoying them. I like that they're clearly marked with the tip size and I like that there's clips on the caps. The color is smooth and nice. I like that the caps fit on the other end of the pens as well, so I don't misplace them. There's a very nice variety of tip sizes with this set, I find it to be an excellent value. Unfortunately, one of the pens came with a frayed tip, it looks like it got jammed on something during production. I didn't want to return them over a single pen though, so I didn't complain. I have bought these pens a few times for Bible journaling. Unfortunately the last few I bought had no ink, the tip was completely white and no matter what I tried, nothing would come out. They lose their ability to write very easily and run out of ink quicker than I would like. I still have maybe 1 or 2 that I can get to work but I am pretty disappointed in the quality to be honest. I need the fine tip pens like this and they are hard to find, but I don't think I will be purchasing from this company again after the last purchase. $8 is not cheap for pens that do not work. ... show more
