    • This is a poor mans GH5 or G9.
We have 10 lumix cameras we use on our sound stage. Most are Gh5 s and G9 s. We bought four G95s because they are very close in features and use the same sensor. I would say the stability is as good as our Gh5s and the auto focus is actually a little better. In our application making music videos there is no detectable difference because we are mostly live streaming with our settings the same on all the cameras. We use 9 for most of our video productions and for the most part the videos look seamless. The bottom line. You will make good videos with the G95 and I recommend them as a semi-pro substitute for the GH5, GH4, or G9. Avoid the G7 and G85. The G95 is roughly the same price and just better in almost every category. I hope this helps. We purchased many cameras in the process of outfitting our sound stage including some Sony’s and others. In the end we found the lumix cameras more consistent and a much better bang for your buck. If you are trying to create a multi camera space and you have limited funds lumix micro four thirds G95s are probably your best chance to live your dream. ... show more

    • Es una cámara interesante
La cámara Lumix G95 fue adquirida con el propósito de substituir a mi antigua Olympus PL-3 y creo que ha cumplido su cometido porque tiene visor, pantalla articulada y bluetooh y otras prestaciones. Este modelo Lumix con el sensor micro 4/3 recibe sin ningún problema la óptica de la Olympus y viceversa. La Lumix es de plástico fuerte pero robusta y liviana y tiene buen agarre con la mano. Botones un tanto rústicos pero de fácil acceso y de fácil manejo por lo que la puedo recomendar para iniciadores en la fotografía. El menú es sencillo y fácil de usar, no así su sistema de emparejamiento con el celular vía wifi, un tanto torpe y complicado. En cuanto a la calidad de imagen es excelente. el flash se dispara a un máximo de 1/200. Obviamente si la comparo con una Sony alpha APS-C esta última tiene más calidad y capacidad sin comparar los sensores porque son diferentes, claro está que hay diferencias en los precios también. I was ready to upgrade from my phone for making videos and content. I didn't want to spend a $1000 or more, but I wanted something that would give me quality video. This camera gave me everything I was looking for for under $600. The image and video quality are great, it's easy to learn and there are several lenses available at reasonable prices.
