I discontinued my land line service, but added a line to my cell and used my land line number on it. I now have phones in several locations in my home that I don’t have to worry about the battery going dead. These phones work well at a reasonable price.

I ordered this for my daughter's family to go along with their Ooma Telo. What's wonderful about the cordless system is that you hook the main part of the system to the Ooma Telo and then all handsets work. So, for a mere $39 for the Panasonic cordless phone system, I now feel confident that my daughter, son in law and grandchildren are safer. After the initial expenditure for the Telo which refurbished, run about $60, combining it with the Panasonic is the icing on the cake. It is only about $6 per month for the phone bill which is merely state and local taxes and fees. I chose Panasonic because we have it at work at at my home and the sound quality is much better than other brands and the ease of operation is exceptional. ... show more

Don't like the talking caller ID. Have turned it off via the handsets, but it still continues!

    • Phones didn't work as expected
Phones couldn't sync with cell phones but that wasn't the kicker. When I returned the phones for a full refund, I got charged ~$13 for original shipping costs, ~$6 for return shipping costs, and 20% for restocking fee. The fees alone are more than half the cost of the refurbished phone. I don't understand why Amazon allows such practices. I never paid for shipping as a Prime member only to be charged for original shipping and return shipping costs when I return a non functioning refurbished item. Such a shame. So, in essence I just gave $30 away to Good As New electronics. I am not in the charity business here on Amazon. Unacceptable.. ... show more
