I was looking for a replacement for my tired old cordless. Amazon was my first stop. I should have realized that I already owned the same model being used on my second line. Yes, we still have copper lines here at our house. Sound quality is excellent. As is the speakerphone feature, the caller announce, answer machine and Call Block. But, there is no way of inputting the home area code, So adding a number to the "phonebook" results in the area code being included to a local number. Tone dialing is an exercise in patience. Each digit is toned out for what seems forever. If I ever replace either system in the future, it will not be this model. ... show more

They sent me the all the items, but one of the charging stations does not work. I have it all set up and working and I dont want to return, I would like to just exchange the charging base for the correct one. I have an older panasonic cordless phone and one of the old phones charges in that base, but the newer phones dont. ... show more

There is no instructions with this unit. Ibgot a wall mount included with no screws to mount to the wall. I had to go on line to figure out how to set up my answering machine. This may not be difficult for many but it is for us who are not savy.

I ordered this for my daughter's family to go along with their Ooma Telo. What's wonderful about the cordless system is that you hook the main part of the system to the Ooma Telo and then all handsets work. So, for a mere $39 for the Panasonic cordless phone system, I now feel confident that my daughter, son in law and grandchildren are safer. After the initial expenditure for the Telo which refurbished, run about $60, combining it with the Panasonic is the icing on the cake. It is only about $6 per month for the phone bill which is merely state and local taxes and fees. I chose Panasonic because we have it at work at at my home and the sound quality is much better than other brands and the ease of operation is exceptional. ... show more

    • CHEAP - BUYER BEWARE!!!
Piece of Crap! Had this for a year this month and all of a sudden all of the hand helds won't charge. Started noticing in the last few months they were flipping out beeping and flashing while phone was in the charging cradle for no reason, but we weren't sure if it was the phone line, apparently not. Soon we aren't going to have any ability to use a phone because they won't charge and of course we can't return them now! The ONLY feature I did like was the ability to block calls that came in. ... show more
