We have been running this unit for a month and still works great, for the price it seems worth it so far. You will need an HVAC technician only half the unit comes charged the outside half needs a vacuum pulled on it before hooking up to make sure it works properly. It took half a day to install, runs quietly inside and outside, the remote control the thermostat but doesn't read out room temperature that's something that would be nice if it did. It looks good, the bracket is easy to hang and unit goes right on it. If it holds up well we may purchase again for a different room. ... show more

So far so good. My friend does install splits for a living and recommended Daikin exclusively. I wasn’t trying to spend $1300. I did a month of research and landed on this unit. So he came and helped me install and pressurize/vacuum lines. As we we going through he noticed multiple features including the certain refrigerant exclusive to Daikin. Used it a handful of times over the last 10 months. Very disappointed that the outside unit quit working and no one can fix it due to parts are different. Contacted company and they sell no parts. Nor do the sell the units separately. When it worked it was great. Just won't last.

Works SO well, wife amazed at how quiet and cold. Bought another for my 550 sq ft shop. Boring a hole through concrete block was a challenge, but bought 2 1/2" concrete hole cutter off amazon that worked with my hammer drill and all is good. Had to shorten line set then vacuum down and do the line set cover and electrical work, no problem for retired hvac guy. ... show more

I am extremely happy so far (had it for just 2 days) and the only negative thing I can say is that these do not come with the mounting template which is shown in their pictures. Using the mounting bracket is all that's needed for that part but you'll need to measure how far to the right (or left) of the bracket arm and how much below the arm for drilling the hole for the line set, drain hose & power. Everything else is as described and as long as you already have the electric line installed (this needs to be 20a wire and circuit), it can be installed and up and running in a few hours. While my situation is rather uncommon, I expect to save around $100 a month on my electric bill. I live in NE Florida in a 1,200 sq ft, 3 bedroom house and it's just me. My 'office' is in my master bedroom and I very rarely use the rest of the house. Needless to say, this is by far the warmest room in the house and to keep that room comfortable, I was basically over-cooling the rest of the house (for no reason). I have a smart thermostat (with 3 1/2 ton AC) and with our summer temps in the mid to upper 90s, I have been averaging 12 - 15 hours of run time per day. After setting up the mini split, I set the house thermostat to 80 degrees and the mini split to 74 degrees. In total, my house AC ran for just 15 minutes. Granted, my situation IS very unique, but I expect to easily save $100 if not more (including the electric being used by this unit. I will be happy to update this review after a few months and post how much I have been saving. ... show more

I have purchased three. Customer service is complete garbage. They all arrived on different dates and it appeared that every person that handled the packages went to war with them. Just beat up as all get out, inside units were good, outside units were dented. But they all work, better than the one Senville I purchased that is always a problem. ... show more

I had a ROVSUN for years, since 2017 when they began. I decided to live the RV Life before the pandemic and in doing so, its key to avoid mold issues and much healthier to replace the RV AC's with a small minisplit system. I researched and found ROVSUN. Their 9000 BTU was just the right size made smaller and they made it in black which was gorgeous. My ROVSUN never failed me. When Florida began to get the Cat 4 hurricanes I lost my trailer home. Did you know that my ROVSUN Minisplit system STILL WORKED! But after a few tragic storms it was time to get a new one. And here is why I will only buy from this company.... I ordered my faithful ROVSUN and the compressor was delivered (they always deliver in two parts) and I was here to receive it but when the second part (the wall unit) was delivered, sadly Hurricane Milton was on its way and we all had to evacuate. Luckily I was able to take the compressor I received to safety but I was not here to receive the wall unit when it was delivered 2 days before Milton devastated us (because we were forced to evacuate!) Hurricane Milton came and it not only swept away my ROVSUN wall unit but it flooded my trailer home! We never found the wall unit when we returned. Just to show you how much integrity ROVSUN has, 2 months AFTER the hurricane when I was able to replace my trailer and I did not expect to ever have the wall unit replaced since it was delivered before the storm... I contacted them because it was time to install my ROVSUN compressor and I was missing the wall unit. YOU WON'T BELIEVE IT AS COMPANIES NEVER DO THIS... THEY DID NOT MAKE ME BUY A NEW ONE... THEY REPLACED THE WALL UNIT THAT FLOATED AWAY FOR FREE!!!! No one does that! Their representatives did not say "sorry we delivered it, not our problem..." INSTEAD they said "How can we help?" When I provided the proof of what happened, they said, "We are sending you a replacement for free." (I nearly fell off my chair.) Interestingly enough, when I had to live without the ROVSUN and my new trailer that came with the usual AC system that ives on the roof was being used, it DID NOT TAKE AWAY the humidity and I began to have issues with breathing because the mold is able to develop when the humidity is not kept under 55%. (Just so you know, my ROVSUN always kept the humidity at 45% or less and I never had mold issues when I had my ROVSUN.) And THAT is why you buy a minisplit system... to have consistent cooling, without condensation or humidity. Our health is all we have in the end and I will ONLY trust mine to ROVSUN. So a special "Thank you" to the people at ROVSUN, not only for having such integrity and for genuinely caring about their customers but for making a product that keeps me and my family healthy and works, even after hurricanes! : ) ... show more
