  • Microwave just as good as a large one
Works just as good as a large microwave. Has child safety lock also.

  • I'm happy with the transaction.
Good product, good tracking information, good owners' manual, apparently good material quality. Arrived one day late of estimated delivery date, but still reasonable time from order to delivery.

  • Excellent microwave oven
There's a question in this box that asks; "What did you use this product for?" -- Answer: 3 Guesses and the first two don't count. We went from a microwave oven that did a lot of things differently than this Panasonic oven. The former one had express buttons 1 thru 6 that needed only one touch to get the oven to go for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 minutes automatically - and 30 second button that did the same. This Panasonic doesn't have those features. The other oven would return your item in the oven to its original position regardless of how long you set it to cook. So, if you put your cup of coffee in it to be warmed, the handle was right there for you to pick it up when it was done - not on the other side where you can't get to it. The Panasonic does not do this. The other oven had the ability to silence the beep. The Panasonic does not. However, the other oven was loud when it was cooking, and although it claimed to be an 1100 watt oven, it cooked like it was a 700 watt oven, and left cold spots in the food (never figured how that could happen). - It also had a problem of the buttons making a beep when you touch them, but did nothing, and the turntable would jerk sometimes and something sounded like it was grinding rocks as well. The Panasonic does none of these either. It is quiet when its cooking. It's an 1100 watt oven, and you get every bit of those 1100 watts. It cooks very well and perfectly evenly. - Once you learn the different way to use the keypad, it becomes second-nature and no hassle at all. Although you can't silence the beep - the Panasonic beep is gentle and only lasts a couple seconds -- not 'wake-the-dead' loud and obnoxious that goes on and on like other ovens. And you cannot mistake what power level you set it at, as it requires you to push the power level button until you get to the power level you want. The other oven made it easy for you to "think" you set the power level correctly, and then as you food is charring, you realize the power level setting didn't take. So, overall - the Panasonic oven --- without all the "features" other ovens have - is a much better oven - is very easy to use and works like a charm in all functions of an oven. Worth the price and I recommend it. ... show more

  • Microwave
Works exceptionally well.

  • Seems to heat evenly. I let food sit with a cover to give it time.
I am happy with this one. Had inconsistent reliaility of two previous ones of the same model. One failed so early it was still under warranty. Another lasted for five years. Is big enough for our purposes. So, if you don't need many special settings, this is likely a good value. It is 1100 watts. I notice on the most recent microwavable food I bought the instructions were for 1200 watts, so eventually the food manufactureres may be expecting you to get something stronger. ... show more

  • Buyer beware!
This is the 3rd time I have purchased this microwave. The first two were identical, and althoug this latest version has some nice outer aesthetic improvements, there are three things that have changed for the worse. There is no interior light, which is a problem, and the clock feature on the front, times out. Both of these appear to be new "eco" chaanges made by Panasonic.one In addition, the dimensions are listed the same as my previous two, but this one is a solid 1/8" taller, so it will not fit in my cabinet. If you don't care about the time, or have need light inside of your microwave, I suppose it's not bad for the money. ... show more

  • Well worth the money. Powerful with a lockout option as well
Had to replace the old microwave after many years. Absolutely love the new lock button to where kids can't open it up and take out a hot plate or Bowl. Very much appreciated option here. I wouldn't say it's a space savor, but I will definitely say it's easy to use it's very powerful and the options are fabulous. ... show more

  • DANGER!!! FIRE HAZARD! Don’t buy! After a year, it now doesn’t stop microwaving after time ends!
This microwave is horrible! I rote this part a month ago but see my update below: We’ve had this microwave for about 15 months now. It heats things fine. It’s not overly noisy as it runs or with it’s beeping. BUT the buttons!! OMG, they drive me insane. So there’s only three things a microwave user has to do: insert food, push the buttons, close/open the door. I use the microwave all the time and step 2 is maddening! The buttons are made to appear touch sensitive but they’re actually push buttons. Push buttons are fine, I like push buttons,, but I like push buttons where there’s a BUTTON. Every single time I use this microwave, I have to push so hard on every button (every number, every reset, every start/stop) that my finger shakes and bends. I even tried putting puffy stickers on them to make sure we push directly on the button and it doesn’t help. You have to be exactly in the middle of each button and push HARD to get a response. I’m about ready to throw the thing in the creek and get a different one. Didn’t they have their people test this with regular use first? I’m guessing not. UPDATE—- DANGER!! Now this microwave has added a new feature. It’s been experimenting with it for about a month. When it’s done microwaving, it doesn’t stop zapping! It’s scary and dangerous. It doesn’t sound right and at first we thought maybe there is a fan issue but after several times of not getting our coffee out immediately (after warming for the same amount of time we usually do) then coming to get a minute later and finding it boiling (or boiling over), we realized it’s still microwaving! Unplugging it then plugging it back in worked at first but not now. The only thing that makes it stop microwaving is leaving the door open. It’s crazy! And SO DANGEROUS! It could start a fire doing that! And hopefully it’s not microwaving us too! It’s extra loud now whenever we close the door. I tell the kids to stay away from it. ... show more
