This phone works great in the Caribbean, Trinidad to be specific! It actually exceeds my expectations. There is an option to have it call out who is calling so it rings twice then says ‘John is calling’ (it’s an option which can be turned off and it’s only if the name is stored in the phone’s phonebook or it will simply call out the number). The numbers are large so great readability, the volume is loud enough, I also have a V-tech phone and it’s louder than that. The only improvement i’ll make to it is to have a light indicator when it is charging since there isn’t any ( the phone itself has written on it ‘charging’). It says it can also be answered by voice and can also be used as a baby monitor which I haven’t tried as yet. Looks great and easily shows how many voicemails received in the main base, also plays them easily. Good value for money. Haven’t had it long enough to speak on durability but seems well made. ... show more

I just set this up yesterday. Did not even use directions. Just unplugged my old AT&T base and plugged the phone cord right into this Panasonic, plugged it in and was good to go. Plan on charging it up before unhooking your old phone if you need it. It needed to be charged before using, which is normal. Because the menu button was very similar to my previous phone, I didn't have to look at the directions to use that either. I also like that it has a smaller base station, as I have a small area on which I set it. It seems to work good, but I have not talked on it much since yesterday. So far, so good. I will revisit this review if anything changes as time goes on, when I have used it more. Good price for 3 cordless phones. ... show more

I can't for the life of me figure out why it does NOT show me the name OR number when there's a call on the second line. I hear the ding, but I can't see the name or number UNLESS it's a BUSINESS calling, and when I hit FLASH to transfer over to that call, it doesn't. So I have to hang up, go to CALLER ID and then it shows up as a missed call. All the instructions say is make sure you are signed up for caller ID with your provider which I obviously am, and I've never had this problem with any other phones I've owned for my landline. Otherwise the CALLER ID feature works perfectly when the phone is not in use and rings. The phone is very easy to use, I barely needed to look at the instructions to set up what I needed to. And I love the call blocking feature. Oh and the screen size and font is great easy to read. ... show more

The simplicity of this phone makes it easy to use. Initially, I didn't want an answering machine, but the simple front controls make it a snap to turn it off. Voice quality is excellent. Call Block works great, so easy to use. Styling is great and price made this an excellent choice. The display is great with large, easy to read graphics. A nice touch, when a call comes from any number stored in the phone book a voice announces the caller's name. So easy to know it's someone you know calling! Needed a new set of LL phones as I don't carry my cell around with me in the house and with these I can pair them to it so when a cell call comes in they will ring so I know. However I don't care for the font and size of the text on the display and there's no way to change it and I would have liked the ability to install my own custom ring tones and with this you can't. Also being mostly plastic they can be kind of slippery when you grab it. The voice announcement of the number calling in annoying but it can be turned off. ... show more

This phone can do anything. I love being able to block a spam call by just pushing a button, and turning off the ringer is nice too. I did need to set it up with the instruction book in hand, but it is well written, so with a little work, you can add the programs you want without much trouble.
