Top Amazon Reviews

  • Outstanding performance
Style: Cordless Size: 5 Handsets
The landline phone system we had in our home worked fine however the problem was that we were constantly bombarded each day with Robo Calls and all kinds advertising and junk spam phone call that were just never ending and very annoying to say the least. I did quite a bit of research on Amazon on the new generation of phones that included anti spam technology and ultimately decided up this Panasonic phone system after going through all the product reviews. I also liked the fact that it was made by Panasonic. The phone system I was replacing was also Panasonic and had served us well for many years so I have faith in the brand. Setup and installation of the system was straight forward and easy enough and within 30 minutes I had the system up and running and set up. I did have to read the instructions in order to set up my preferred preferences (voice message, ring volume, spam settings, etc) but I found the instructions very clear and easy to follow. This phone allows you to sync it with your cellular phones, which is a really nice option, but I have no interest in this feature at the present time so I didn't bother with that, however I did read the instructions on how to do it and it didn't appear to be to complicated. I may utilize the cell phone feature later.. I found the system to be visually attractive and of quality construction and the best part of all is that from the minute I activated the system the spam phone calls immediately stopped. It was like a miracle We would receive no less that a dozen such annoying spam phone calls each day, sometimes two dozen. It's been 2 days now and we have not received even 1 such annoying call. My wife and I are thrilled to say the least and if a spam call does slip through somehow all we have to do is simply press the "Block" call button and the phone and that number will never be able to call us again. The system comes pre-programmed with an internal list of known spam callers and you can add your own numbers to that list if you need to simply by hitting the "Block" button. Doesn't get any easier than that. This is really a great system, I love it. Its spam blocking technology really works well and the amount of other features that the phone has is amazing. If you're looking to replace your older phone system in order to avoid those annoying spam calls just order this system.... you will be very happy you did. ... show more

  • Good Landline Phones. Easy to Set Up. Clear Sound Quality. Easy to Use Answering Machine.
Style: Cordless Size: 5 Handsets
We initially purchased the set of 5 for throughout the house. The button size is good. Not too large or small. The phones are aesthetically pleasing. Sound quality is good. The caller ID clearly displays the number and name of the caller on each of the phone's screens. We decided to buy and "add-on" phone for our Living Room. It was very easy to set-up and sync to the other phones. All in all, we are pleased with these phones. ... show more

  • Really Good Phone System, With Only a Few Quirks
Style: Cordless Size: 5 Handsets
This phone has a lot of nice features, some of which are a little difficult to set up. I especially love the "Block Call" feature as we were getting many spam colors before we set this up. It works flawlessly. The voice announcing who is calling is pretty robotic, and I don't know (yet) if I can change that. I do recommend the phones, with one caution: you must read the instruction booklet before setting up and after when you want to use different functions ... show more

  • Great unit with built in spam block
Style: Cordless Size: 5 Handsets
This is the best cordless phone system I have ever had. I wanted to use my old land line number, but I've been getting at least two dozen spam calls a day. This new system has an auto block feature that, if activated, requires unknown callers to press the number 1 before they are connected. The only way I know someone has called is by going thru indicated missed calls, because spam calls never ring. But, any number in your phonebook bypasses the autoblock. The system was simple to set up including the answering system. Speed dial was more interesting. I could find speed dial in the settings list, but it wasn't clear how to add one, but once you put in the phone number you want to add using the speed dial setting, you merely hold a keypad number down for 3 or 4 seconds, which will add the number. I also added a sixth handset which once it was charged, pretty well registered itself with a single press of the locator button on the base unit. Finally, volume and battery life are great, I use speaker phone a lot and it just doesn't seem to wear down. All in all, Panasonic makes a great product. ... show more

  • Great Feature Rich System
Style: Cordless Size: 5 Handsets
I have been using these Panasonic systems for years. Eventually, like everything that gets old, my previous system needed to be updated. I tried a V-tech system that looked to have all the same feature but cost less. I just replaced that system with this Panasonic as there is no substitute for the quality and extensive features, many of which, are not capabilities of the V-tech system. While they both support BT connectivity with 2 cell phones, there are significant differences and the Panasonic works consistently and with a fuller suite of functions. I was able to import my address book from my cell phone, and call blocking functions are better and easier to use. Sound quality is comparable and voicemail features similar. The V-tech, while indicating BT connection with the cell phone, did not work consistently, and is one of the main reasons for needing that capability - to consistently make and receive cell phone calls via this home system with its 5 handsets. ... show more

  • Flaw in the answering machine's LEDs (Model KX-TGF975B)
Style: Cordless Size: 5 Handsets
I purchased the Panasonic Cordless Phone System (Model KX-TGF975B) last fall, having always trusted Panasonic phones in the past. Unfortunately, after just a few days, both the answer on/off LED and the message indicator light stayed constantly lit, even when the answering machine was off and no messages were recorded. I initiated a warranty claim through Panasonics website right after Christmas, sending the 1st defective unit back (at my expense). The Warranty claims center sent me a second unit. Unfortunately, the same problem occurred a few days after I starting using the unit. So, I sent back a this 2nd unit (I had them send me a shipping label) and, wouldn't you know it, the same problem existed on this 3rd unit. I, again, emailed their Warranty claim center asking them to please test any unit they send to me before sending it so that we are sure that it works and requested another shipping label. They responded, "Hello, Please call technical support on this at 1 800 *** 7262 as these units you received are perfectly working items. Thanks Thank you, Panasonic Consumer Product Support". Well, this was quite rude and it insinuated that I was doing something to break the unit to somehow make two led lights stay on. I don't even know how I would go about doing that. I made a video of the problem and called the number. The technician I spoke with said they weren't setup to test or repair the phones. He gave me a number to call Panasonic Support directly (apparently they were just a Florida-based warranty facilitators). No apology for the rudeness. I called Panasonic and spoke to two people. The second person said that they couldn't help but to call 1 800 *** 7262 for help. That was the company in Florida who had just given me Panasonic's support number! Good grief. So, I sent back the 3rd unit (at my expense) and two weeks later received a 4th unit (it's now the end of February 2026). Again, same problem. This is a a $200 phone system that can't get the most basic indicators working correctly and chooses to use a warranty company that doesn't fix or even test or acknowledge issues with their devices. The warranty service was fast but completely ineffective. I've attached a video showing the Answer On/Off light staying on. The message light (triangle under the play button) isn't on before this video was recorded but comes on permanently within hours/days of the first light staying on. It's a shame that I cannot recommend this phone system as I've used Panasonic phones my entire adult life. It’s far too expensive to have this unfixable inherent design flaw. I’ve attached videos so you can see for yourself. Save your money and look elsewhere. ... show more

  • Good Phone--Some Problems/Annoyances
Style: Cordless Size: 4 Handsets
I would like to give this phone a "3+" star rating if I could. The phone itself has many nice features included but it also has some "issues" you will have to deal with. It is easy to set up and looks good on a desk in an office. Be aware that the manual that comes with it IS NOT complete. It does not offer all the information you need about the phone. If you want the REAL instruction/set-up manual go to the Panasonic help site and they will give you a free extensive instruction manual. This is the complete manual that really is helpful. The screens are bright and easy to see as well as the numbers. The buttons all "work" well with soft touch features. One BIG PROBLEM is that the phone WILL ring out of sequence with your other phones you have in your home. I did ALL of the troubleshooting offered by Panasonic to no avail to correct this problem. Also, I contacted my telephone service provider and they told me that some phones like these have this issue and really nothing could be done to correct it (the phone company did check all my service and lines and found everything in working order on their "end"). The speaker on the base unit works well but voices sound sort on "tin-like" and there is no way to adjust the tone of the speaker; so this is another issue you might just have to live with. I did call friends and ask them how I sounded from my end and they all told me I sounded fine. If you can "live with" the out of sequence ringing this phone should work well for you. I decided to keep the phone because of the other features and because I have purchased Panasonic phones for many years and they overall work quite well. ... show more

  • Goodbye robo calls, hello peace and quiet!
Style: Cordless Size: 5 Handsets
We live in a Known Trouble Area (KTA... it's a thing) so we can't rely on our cell phones. We have to have a landline. But my gosh, the robo/spam calls were coming in hourly on my old Panasonic phone system. It didn't do any good to block them (which was limited to 200 anyway) because these scammers and spammers have access to unlimited numbers. I read the reviews on this system and purchased it. It has not disappointed. In fact, it has far exceeded my expectations! The phone would literally ring hourly. We wouldn't answer and would even shut off the ringers but that was just a bandaid. This system stops the calls before the phone can even ring! A first time caller receives a message that they need to press 1 (or whatever access code you want to use) in order to continue the call. Robo calls can't do that so it's an automatic disconnect. And this phone has a "call block" button on the pad which is fast and easy. But the real game changer is the ability to save a sequence of numbers that will forever block callers with those numbers. As an example, if you want to block all 1-888- numbers... you can set up the phone to do just that. I jot down all of the spam/political/robo calls that are using the same area code and first three digits then add them to my blocked list. It's such a beautiful thing! If you have to have a landline and are tired of the endless robo calls, I highly recommend this system. I will say it is confusing for "real" people the first time they call you (when they get that prompt) but you can save their info and they'll never get the prompt again. You can also save your contacts and their calls will come right through. It's genius! ... show more
