This is a review on this case as a gaming device only -- I haven't tried fitting it onto a phone, I've just been using it as a silly portable game console. For that purpose, it's great. I would like to be able to adjust the volume, but the only way seems to be by physically covering the speaker. The screen also gets wonky if you press the back of it -- attached to a phone, this wouldn't be an issue since the phone would block it. The included games are cute, although Arkanoid gives unlimited lives, which I guess could be good? I also can't figure out how to play some of the games, but if I decide I care, I expect to find instructions if I search online. The battery life is not as long as I would have expected -- I suppose if you charge this case when you charge your phone, and don't play this "console" constantly, you should be okay. A $20 phone case that allows you to flawlessly play dozens of retro games (and also happens to be adorable)?? I knew it was too good to be true. This case broke after a month—the screen started turning white and the left button on the control pad stopped working. I’m buying a new one because it’s awesome for awhile and the novelty of it really can’t be overstated, but it’s annoying. I’d be willing to pay $100 or more for a case that does the same thing, but doesn’t start to fall apart after a mere few weeks of use. Maybe I’ll just start buying these in bulk. ... show more

I ordered this a couple days ago and I was so excited to get it that when I did get it I drained the battery as soon as it got it but when I tried to put it on my phone it wouldn't fit, I ordered an iPhone 11 case but it wouldn't go on and I tried to force it on but it wouldn't budge. The games are fun for when you're bored and want to play some old video games, the buttons sometimes stick a little but it would just come back to the original position. Overall good case! UPDATE!!! Ordered for my son he was so excited to receive it because it has the little games on the back of it that you can actually play. Delivery was great it arrived fast, actually before we even expected it to. Putting it on was easy no issues, the ONLY reason I am giving it a one star for now is because he went to play the games and the “screen” arrived broke. You couldn’t see any games at all but could hear them. All you can see is a big black circle off centered with discoloration going through it kind of looked like a broken TV after your toddler banged his sippy cup against it hard, but in our situation my son just got it so it wasn’t dropped or anything and my poor son was so upset so I tried to do an exchange and I couldn’t I had to do a return struggle to print the label at work but it again and now drop it off at a UPS location and wait for my refund. Getting the new one today fingers crossed it doesn’t arrive damaged!! Will update once received new one! ... show more

This product is great so far, but haven’t been able to use much. My 11 year old son picked this out for his first phone but I was pretty excited for it too. It seems like it will protect the phone well and the games play almost like the real thing. There is a ton of great games that brought back some good memories. Now for the warning, my son brings his phone to school and leaves it in his backpack. If his stuff squishes it a little it can turn the power button on. When you first turn it on, the column is seriously loud. You can turn the volume down, but it always starts on the highest when it turns on. So needless to say it made for a couple of embarrassing times in class when it turned on. I had to buy him a regular case for school, and maybe he can use this one on summer break. I also thought about getting myself one of these, but I keep my phone in my back pocket and I’m afraid the same thing will happen during times you don’t want it to. I feel there should be a silent switch or something like that. But the product itself it great so I still did 5 stars. ... show more
