Simple design, easy to use!
I used canned biscuits, rolled out. Worked perfectly. I baked them, using pre-cooked scrambled eggs, sausage cheese for breakfast pockets. Want to try with corn meal dough next to make meat and cheese empanadas, then want to try pie dough and filling for dessert turnovers. What a neat gadget!

Easy way to make large empanadas
Works great. Used burrito shells to make large sandwiches.

Not good enough
As you can see, I should've listened to the top review. The item isn't aligned properly and as a result it won't make a clean cut. Not to mention the fact that it's a bit too flimsy and expensive for what it is. It's also slightly too small.

Great value pie maker!
This is the first time I've used a product such as this. I wanted to make fried pies for my hubby. I like the way this will cut the perfect circle of dough, then lay the dough on the press, fill, and fold over, pressing. I do make sure I add water to the edges (as I do in making a pie), just to help the dough stick together better. My only mistake is this size is a bit big for fried pies....maybe in the future I'll go ahead and get a size smaller. But this does the job!

The BEST large sized Empanada press!
To make Picadillo, Chicken & Shrimp Empanada's. So far since getting this beautiful shiny, silver (looks like Chrome, not sure but the weight is excellent) press I've made the Picadillo and they came out beautifully!
