As you can see, I should've listened to the top review. The item isn't aligned properly and as a result it won't make a clean cut. Not to mention the fact that it's a bit too flimsy and expensive for what it is. It's also slightly too small.

    • Great value pie maker!
This is the first time I've used a product such as this. I wanted to make fried pies for my hubby. I like the way this will cut the perfect circle of dough, then lay the dough on the press, fill, and fold over, pressing. I do make sure I add water to the edges (as I do in making a pie), just to help the dough stick together better. My only mistake is this size is a bit big for fried pies....maybe in the future I'll go ahead and get a size smaller. But this does the job! ... show more

To make Picadillo, Chicken & Shrimp Empanada's. So far since getting this beautiful shiny, silver (looks like Chrome, not sure but the weight is excellent) press I've made the Picadillo and they came out beautifully!
