I always tend to read the 1 and 2 star reviews and then decide if I want to order the product. I decided to take a chance on this microscope and I’m glad I did! It’s super simple to set up and as you can see from my images (one is gains of salt and the other is part of a flower), the microscope works great. I think the only negative is that it is light weight and will shake a bit, but once you finish getting your sample set on it the shaking stops. We ordered this for our grandson and liked it so much that we ordered a second one for our granddaughter!

A cheap microscope with descent resolution. For the price, it does great. But retrospectively, I would have put more money and get a better one. But it's a great start for low budget projects.

Bought one for home hobby use with low expectations. I was blown away, and bought two more for our lab at work. Sharp imaging and great magnification. Only down sides are the stand is cheap plastic so it shakes a little if you're leaning on the table, and the up/down wheel slips a bit but for $60, you can't go wrong. Hopefully it's still on sale for you!

This is awsome. It's much better than I anticipated. It zooms very well. I'm not sure how it will hold up in time but the build seems pretty good. Our kids absolutely love it, as do I.

I would have given the picture 5 stars but it's not an expensive microscope. My GD spent well over a couple of hours looking at everything. Best moment was when Grandma picked a leaf from outdoor plant and GD put that under the microscope, looking at the pores of the leaf when an Ant walked over the leaf, giant ant! Instructions are awful, but understandable. Very easy to use and GD gave it a high five.

Not using it much anymore as it times out to quickly while viewing and doesn't seem very durable. Zooms in "ok" but needs more power to actually see what you are looking for. The quality of the unit it cheap and just doesn't do what I need it to do. Hard to adjust and not very bright.

this is a nice little microscope. I like the screen so that the kids can see it and not fight over looking into 'the tube' . Wish it was able to raise just a couple inches more but it is a good little microscope. Would buy again and may so I can have one at school.
