I have EXTREMELY oily skin, for nearly 10 years I have been consistently using the blue clean and clear sheets, and I have also tried few other brands here and there don't didn't work as well to absorb the oils. My whole face gets oily after about an hour of having my makeup done (less time if it's hot + humid) and that is with primer and setting spray. Although the blue clean and clear sheets absorb the oils very well, it almost absorbs too much and removes makeup leaving dry and patchy skin after a long day. I have tried to ditch the sheets altogether and just tried touching up with translucent powder such as Fenty Invisamatte which leads to cakey skin at the end of the day. The key to these sheets is the powder, which somehow does NOT cake up with the oil, it leaves you matte but not too dry, it's the perfect finish like you just did your makeup. I never leave reviews, but I had to just come on here and say these are literally the best, very well priced, and I will continue buying these as long as they're selling!

I bought this for vacation and humid days. I tried this year's ago but the powder instead. It worked like a charm. My skin is different now, so I didn't care for it, but my daughter loved it. So if you have mature skin, maybe not for you.

The packaging is cute and they do absorb oil. However the papers ripped very easily and I felt like they were falling apart as I was trying to use them. I like the concept of the translucent powder to help keep you looking fresh. But I felt these just didn’t hold up to other brands.

UPDATE: After using these a while longer, I decided that although I will continue to buy blotting papers without any powder added, I will also never be without these. There's something about the combo of the rice powder and the blotting paper that mattifies my oily areas and blurs skin imperfections like nothing I've ever found. The translucent is great for light/medium skin (I'm NC130), but might slightly wash out deeper skin tones. I love the fact that it doesn't add any obvious color though. OLD REVIEW: These work wonders, but be aware that you are applying a layer of makeup to your skin. Sometimes it's a little too much if I just did my makeup and don't want anything else on there. I bought another brand without powder for these times, and i don't know if I will repurchase these, just because I don't like to have too many versions of things. That said, they do work very beautifully and would make a fantastic replacement for a compact of oil absorbing face powder. If you're someone who likes to powder your nose when you're out, you will be beyond thrilled with how these perform and how nicely they fit in a tiny purse.

I bought this item because it was supposed to be rice paper. But it’s not rice paper as it says. Instead it’s some kind of paper with rice powder on it and it’s very rough to the skin. I would not recommend it if you’re looking for rice, paper, potting paper, and I won’t buy it again. Correct your false advertising!
