Wife: So ya not worth it by a long shot, doesn’t change kinda makes my face burn alil the smell makes me sick and makes my eyes burn alil its the fumes I use it with my other foundation. So ya it will be a nope from me. My 2 year old loves the brushes so I guess that’s a plus. So recap the smell is bad and makes my skin and eyes burn. O and I broke out with lots of lil red bumps. Not sure if it was from the foundation or not but I’m not going to try and find out.

Photo attached, please ignore my terribly asymmetrical face lol Now, this stuff glides on SO smooth. I did a test patch on my hand to make sure I didn’t break out from it or anything crazy and let me just say… my hand was ghostly white. I figured it was just because my hands are a bit darker than my face and gave it a go on my face. BIG MISTAKE. I looked sickly white. This foundation did not match my skin tone/color in the slightest. I looked like a Victorian era child sick with the measles or some nonsense. I tried blending and blending until my skin just couldn’t take it anymore and my arms were tired from the constant dabbing. The ONLY saving grace I’ll give this foundation, and the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because I thankfully had some powder foundation that I put over my ghost white face and was able to even it out and not look so sickly. However, that’s not what I purchased this for, what it was advertised as. I figured it out but it isn’t exactly as advertised. It provides a nice WHITE surface to start from scratch but for us darker colored folks.. this isn’t it. ***Also to add*** Washing this off was a mess. It turned into a nasty thick paste that just smeared all over my face making it harder to get it off. Once I finished one portion of my face, the area that was wet dried in a wonderful swirl pattern. I worked on my face for about 30 minutes before saying screw it and just scrubbed my face in the shower to save time.

I was pleasantly surprised by this foundation. It blends in easily and gives a nice, natural finish without feeling heavy. The color-adjusting formula worked better than I expected, although it wasn’t a perfect match for my skin tone. I also liked that it came with applicators, making it easy to use right out of the box. It held up well for several hours, but I did notice I needed a little touch-up by the end of the day. Overall, it’s a good value and worth trying if you’re curious about color-changing foundation.

This is an interesting foundation concept. It goes on light and blends easily, and the texture feels smooth and comfortable on the skin. The color-changing effect is subtle. It adjusts a little to your skin tone, but it’s not magic, it still works best if you’re already close to the shade range it’s meant for. Coverage is light to light-medium, so it’s better for natural, everyday makeup rather than full glam. It didn’t feel heavy or cakey during wear. Overall, it’s a nice lightweight foundation option if you want something easy to apply with a natural finish.

So, I first tried it yesterday, and I was not changing color. I applied it with one of the brushes that came with it, and while I like the accent and the texture of my skin after applying it, it really just blended in like lotion, with no coverage effect, which is easy to tell on me because my skin has red patches from rosacea. Which was fine to me, because it's a good price for lotion. Today, using it as a lotion, and applying with my fingers, it did change color. It did provide light to medium coverage. And I think it does match my skin well. So there were are. I'm not sure if it was the brush or because yesterday I had also but lotion and face primer like I would normally before applying foundation, but something made a difference.
