Loved all the surprises for this advent calendar! Longer lasting than chocolates and unique for Harry Potter fans. Some of the perforations weren’t easy for kids to open without ripping so may need to help if you get for kids.

Like everyone else here, the calendar I received is missing items on some of the days. It’s been a disappointing experience for my daughter with this calendar. It ruins the fun. Don’t buy this, definitely not worth the money. So far one slot was somewhat worthwhile (a deck of cards) and the rest that have had something, it’s been stickers or erasers or pencils.

Got this advent calendar for my seven year old… We looked forward to seeing what harry potter treasure awaited her every night so in that regard, it was a good purchase. It was so flimsy though, as a whole, it was very difficult to keep it together night after night when opening a door. In fact, to open each door… I needed to use a utility knife every time. A child would never be able to do this without a parent . And even with carefully retrieving the days treasures, by the end of the month, the advent calendar was like literally falling apart. All in all- cute little idea, poorly constructed.

I was surprised that even though the items where less expensive things (like pencils, erasers, stickers, ad magnets) they were not cheaply made or just plastic trinkets. The items were things my daughter was actually excited to get and has enjoyed. This did not disappoint and I would purchase from them again.

Pieces are either missing or have slid. Very difficult to identify each window. And opening it is an ordeal…very poorly constructed, impossible to open without tearing. Very, very disappointing quality. Way too overpriced for what it is.

I was worried about all the bad reviews. I think any advent calendar could have some items slip into other holes, that's normal. We are on day 7 and my daughter loves loves loves everything she's opened so far! My other daughter is jealous because her calendar was Breyer Brand but all the items were super miniature. Everything in this Harry Potter Advent Calendar so far has been full sized and loved.
