I actually really liked this sprayer on my first project. Did the whole inside of my RV cabinets and it laid down a decent coat. Easy to use, cleanup wasn't terrible. But the second time I tried to use it for a dresser, it would not suck paint up at all. It blows air fine, but no paint comes through. I cleaned it meticulously after the first use, poked every hole, flushed every tube, and there's no clog. It just decided to quit pulling liquid. ... show more

I heard the voices of angels singing, the minute it came out of its lovely box, then I transcended to an entirely different dimension the minute I started to spray the luminous life changing white paint to a simple door. Well what I mean to say is. Im totally and utterly inlove, I offered to paint neighbors fences cabinets, unfortunately all elegantly declined. I still have hopes though. Ok. Yesterday I was ready to throw this thing in the garbage. My project was a complete refinishing of my kitchen cabinets. After days of sanding and priming, the time arrived to use my new sprayer. It was a complete train wreck. The first pass looked like I was using a texture gun. Had to foam roller it all out. After some research, I decided to thin out my latex, very expensive, cabinet paint at a ratio of 20% water.. Much better, but still really splotchy. Had to foam roller it out. At this point I decided to not use the sprayer and just use a foam roller. Cabinet doors looked like crap even after 2 coats. Finally decided there must be a you tube out there on this piece of junk. Sure enough a 17 minute video explaining everything about this exact sprayer. Link below. Come to find out my paint was still to think, and the video guy said he thined out his paint at a ratio of 3 to 1. So I used 3 cups of paint to 1 cup of water. Video guy was also painting a cabinet door (same as me), and said to use the smallest spray tip available, which was 1 mm. Another key item was to filter the paint through the included filters. After all this, my paint came out of the gun perfectly with great coverage and a professional finish. Don't rely on the instruction booklet, pretty worthless except the viscosity measurements and instructions. Good luck The included picture was after the first coat. So still more to go. Amazon won't allow an external link to the you tube. Just look for "How to Use A HVLP Paint Sprayer" and look for the on with the yellow sprayer that just says "Sprayer" That the one to watch. ... show more

Absolutely love this sprayer. Having come with a number of different size nozzles makes it very versatile. The instructions were easy to follow for both assembly and understanding the uses for the different nozzles. Love the way the spray can be adjusted for different projects to prevent overspray. Cleans easily by spraying a cleaner through it and using included brush to push through nozzles. Great sprayer for the money and holding up very well with proper cleaning. ... show more
