Ordered a 5x7 in pink for my 3 year olds room. I was initially worried pulling it out of the wrapper because it was very thin and smelled like chemicals but it did fluff back up and after a light washing the smell lessened. Got the black and white 8x10, this is very large, super super soft, not at all cheap looking, and does not feel cheap. There was a chemical smell when I opened it, so be aware of that, but its now down in my daughters room and the smell is gone. I love walking on the rug, is so smooth and soft. I did just buy it for Christmas so we will see, but I can tell when material will not last and if something will wear badly. We received this product yesterday, 1/14/25. Going to use it for my 5yr olds new bedroom upgrade. The minute I opened the box I smelled a harsh chemical like smell. The rug its self is very beautiful and soft and perfect for my daughter’s room. Didn’t want anything too fancy. We left it out for over 24hrs, went and placed it in my daughters room, a few hours later went back in her room to finish setting up and her room reeked of that chemical like smell. Going to leave it out in the garage for a couple days to see if it airs out. 1/20 update. Let the rug air out a couple days and the smell has gone away. It’s beautiful, soft and my daughter loves it. soft, shaggy, and colorful. However, this is not like a regular rug that has a thick bottom. It's actually a little thicker than a table cloth. I bought this for Xmas for my two daughters that share a bedroom. It's so perfect! The lines from being vacuum sealed came out within minutes and it's so soft, fluffy, colorful and fun. Their last rug lasted over 9yrs, so I have high hopes for this one!
