I got the 17" fixed for a Honda 5HP outboard. Remove the rubber insert, add a few drops of Super Glue to the rubber handle, slip it over the tiller handle, and tie it down with two 2" hose clamps, and you should be good to go. It should last for years. The Pactrade tiller is a go!

Wow, I use this on a 4HP Suzuki outboard on my dinghy. Before having this I had to keep my back turned from the front of the dinghy and how I can comfortably steer the vessel with very little neck strain and it swivels up and out of the way quite easily!

Didn't fit my 4 stroke 2.5 hp suzuki outboard...missed working by about 1/4 inch. If it'll fit your motor its fairly stout, should work as designed. Too bad though, I'll have to return this one and find one a little larger.

I bought this handle extension for my Minn-Kota transom mount trolling motor and it come with a piece of rubber inside(I assume to make it tighter on the handle)however with the rubber inside it wouldn't go on and without the rubber it was too loose. I had to use a piece of old inner tube to make it fit up tight,but after I got it fitting good and snug it worked as planned,also it needs two screws to tighten it down.

I was skeptical because it is inexpensive but it works great. I have it on a Mercury 3.5 HP outboard. I had to take out the rubber spacer insert but then it fit on the handle perfectly and tightened up. Feels very firm in the hand and in control.
