    • It litterally feels like a knock off
If this filter is really made by K&N they should be ashamed of themselves. First of the filter comes in a box that is almost twice its size for some reason and is not even wrapped on a protective plastic like most other brands do. This was the first thing that stood out and made me question if it is authentic. The the filter is glued unevenly to the plastic housing. It's hard to explain but I compared it to the other brands and the other brands had an nice perfectly glued equally around the entire filter the it's casing. LASTLY since I put this filter in my car it has started delaying a response the push of the pedal. As if its trying to suck air in but struggling. My car studders and jump to the push of the gas as if it takes a second for the air to fully come through. I'm not a mechanic so excuse me if Im not describing this correctly but trust me youre better off sticking with manufacturer recommended filter or other well know makers but not this one*****Update on my review of this filter. I have since replaced this filter and my car is running smooth again without any delay in response. So now I can 100% say that this is not a quality filter and definitely cause the poor performance in my veh when it was being used ... show more
