Bought these as a replacement for a remote that had cracked in a fall. These new remotes work perfectly with our TCL Roku TV. The one difference I notice from the original remote is that the volume buttons are very clicky. Not a big deal, but noticeable. However, these are an exceptional value for the price.

Other than some difficulty attempting to open one of the remotes (extremely tight), to place the batteries in, everything about the remotes is fine. They work well, no real pairing with tv...just point at it and it's all set. Also in some reviews that I read prior to purchasing these stated that the buttons had a "clicky" sound to them upon press....these do not. Would I buy them again? Yes, definitely and you get more than what you are charged. You can not go bad for the price that you pay. I am very satisfied!

I'm giving this product five stars for its value, although its performance merits only three stars. Currently priced at $8.99, I initially paid $9.99. Even at $10, it's a great deal since replacement remotes cost just $5 each, which is significantly cheaper than buying an Apple AirTag and case ($30 + $10). With that amount, I could buy eight remotes! However, the remote has limitations. Unlike the original, it requires a line of sight to the TV and lacks voice capabilities, functioning through RF signals. Despite these drawbacks, it serves its purpose well enough for my needs.

It works with the Roku built into the T.V. but doed not work with the Roku stick. I took off one star because the description does not disclose that it does not work with a Roku stick. Otherwise, the product is good and a good value. 07/06/2024

Old remote stopped working despite changing batteries. Ordered these two replacements figuring we'd use one and save one--but WAIT! Having 2 at once means both of us get our own remote and no more searching the couch cushions. These worked immediately out of the package (no instructions included), no set up at all. Just pop in 2 AAA batteries and they work. These have 4 presets vs 3 on the original, plus an additional button with a crescent moon that sets the TV timer (to turn off in 30, 60, 90 minutes so you don't leave the TV on after you pass out on the sofa). 5 bucks apiece--what a deal!

These remotes came in a 2 pack and I removed them and there's no programming needed just point and it worked....and it works great for a replacement..only reason I gave the rating I did is cause one of them don't work at all..but I'm not fussing cause it's still a great value even for the one remote..but it's easy to use and all the buttons work as they are intended for.
