This product has grainy sand in it, which the product should not have. Everyntime I get it from Amazon the product is no good. I can only imagine that it is in a hot warehouse or something and left to degrade. If I get it from Walmart, it's cheaper and doesn't leave residue.

I wanted to get through most of the tub before writing a review. I liked certain aspects of it, but ultimately there are more cons that will stop me from buying more. I bought this on a whim as the usual styling paste I used had changed their formula and was more expensive (Bedhead Matte paste) but I'll be going back to that. Pros: - Great scent - Holds well with just a small amount - Matte, which is great as I prefer no shine - Great value for price and amount received Cons: - There is an ingredient in this that makes my scalp very itchy as the day progresses. It ultimately caused some itchy bumps, which is why I am no longer continuing with this product. I have never had an issue with itchiness with any other paste I have used. I have included a photo of the ingredients as no where on this product page do they list them out. - Contrary to their claims, this does not wash out easily. It left my hair feeling waxy and needing to be washed out with shampoo several times to get out completely. (Which nullifies my cost savings if I'm needing to wash it out with more shampoo) - It seems to prevent lathering of shampoo, often times just causing the shampoo to absorb all the water and wash off while still leaving the paste on your hair. ... show more
