I bought the 20" bike one year ago when my grandson was 2 1/2. It is a sharp looking bicycle and he was very excited.... He fit on the bike well but had difficulty keeping his feet on the pedals when trying to pedal. I thought he just needed get older. We have tried numerous times over the past year but still the same problem. His feet keep coming off the pedals. I then watched a youtube video on how to teach a child to pedal. So i put the training wheels on boards to lift the rear tire off the ground so he could learn to pedal in place. He had the same problem. As I looked closer i could see the problem. The right pedal does not spin freely. As he tries to pedal the right pedal doesn't want to spin and literally throws his foot off the pedal. Very frustrated I didn't see this sooner. I do not see an easy way to introduce lubricant to the pedal... I guess I will have to find replacement pedals. ... show more

Brand new bike, pad came off during assembly. Reached out to customer support, will see if they send me new parts and update this post accordingly. As of 9/9, I have the replacement parts in hand.
