This is just beautiful and very well made. The finish at the edge is a nice navy piping. Very well designed with the baffles about 12.5" squares to hold the down in place. It is heavy so lots of down inside. I bought 2 down blankets (a little thinner than a comforter) and I have had them for almost 22 years, I use mine daily and they still look like new. I do keep them on the bed year-round. Mine are washable and I do that in my washer and dryer, but they have a different fabric on the outside. The instruction on this comforter is to have it professionally laundered. Maybe that is necessary because the weight would be too much for a home washer. I think I will keep a duvet cover on this one to keep it nice and not need to be cleaned as often. This is really luxury hotel quality so you will not be disappointed. If Hotels can use these on a daily basis, they should be durable. It's still very cold here in Colorado so I will test it out for sure. It comes beautifully boxed so it would also be a great gift for friend or family You cannot peek inside because it is vacuum packed and presented with a sealed tissue paper, so don’t open it before you gift it because that will ruin the presentation. Love this a real winner

I keep coming back to this brand because they provide a quality product that is designed to keep you warm by designing the baffles to prevent shifting of the down. I have 4 bedrooms and each of them have one of these comforters. I purchased this one for the primary bedroom and the size, quality and comfort are just as I expected. It is like sleeping with a cloud. I recently had family visit, and they all commented on the quality, comfort and size of the comforter. Having a strong sense of smell, I notice that these comforters do not have any smell at all. I always wash and dry any bedding before I use it. I took this to the laundry and washed and dried it prior to use. It performed great. No shrinking. No shifting of stuffing.

Good size, easy to open package and keep comforter safe, soft, keeps you toasty, and is a good thickness for the value. It smells normal, and if you want it to smell differently, put it in the dryer with a dryer sheet you like the smell of on air dry, and it will improve. I just wish they had a selection of covers sold with the comforter! Twin duvet covers are available though. Remember to order them with your order of the comforter.

Perfect king size. Can be flipped sideways to fit a California king, which is what we have. It has ties on each corner and at the midsection to aide in keeping the blanket attached to the slip cover. It's lightweight, but nicely packed with feathers, and really quite warm, even for winter. We were cozy using this even though we let our house go down to 60 degrees at night in the winter.
