  • Quality down comforter that provides a great night sleep!
Size: King
I got this for our bed. Our old comforter was a primaloft (synthetic down). It was fine, but over the years, it was smooshed and the edges were flat. I saw this Pacific Coast Down King size and decided to try it. The packaging was amazing! The quilt came fully compressed in a vacuum package which was boxed with tissue paper and an envelope with information about the company and how to properly fluff it back up. FYI, this would make a very nice gift for someone, just the way it came packaged. So the trick is to get the comforter out, lie it flat and then lightly tap and shake to get the filling to fluff properly. They also suggested laying it out in the sun, but I didn’t want to get it dirty - especially since they only recommend spot cleaning or dry cleaning. We have a loft with skylights that no one really uses, so I laid it out up there and went up every few days to tap and fluff. It did puff up nicely. Because each square is stitched you don’t have to worry about the down shifting from one square to another. I removed my old comforter from the duvet and washed the duvet. I normally use corner clips to keep the corners of the duvet secured to the comforter. This comforter has a strip of material across each corner that you can use to tie your duvet cover to the comforter. I used the clip and the tie for extra security. It also had loop tabs midway on all four sides. That seemed like a great idea, but my duvet didn’t have any ties on the sides. I would say that I like the loops better than the corner strips for tying the duvet. See my pics to see the difference. The overall quality of this comforter is evident in the craftsmanship. The piping edges are all double stitched. The material is double layered to prevent the down from popping out. And the softness of the material is really lovely! The size of this comforter is larger than my old one. The old one never really fit the duvet cover properly. This comforter fit it perfectly while providing the perfect amount of hang on each side of our bed. Now the true test…how does it feel when you sleep with it?? My husband prefers a cooler environment for sleeping. I don’t mind as long as I feel like I have enough blanket to snuggle with to keep me warm. I can say this passed my sleep test with flying colors. We both had an amazing night’s sleep!! This is truly a quality comforter that works for year round sleeping!! ... show more

  • Exceptional Quality, Comfort, and Presentation
Size: Queen
My family have owned several down Pacific Coast comforters over the years, and this one immediately impressed me before I even opened the box. The presentation alone says a lot about Pacific Coast's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. It arrives in a beautiful branded box with premium heavyweight care cards neatly packaged in an envelope. The comforter itself is wrapped in tissue paper and stored in a high-quality reusable zippered storage bag—a very classy presentation. The comforter arrives vacuum packed, but as soon as the bag is opened it begins to loft immediately. After about 10 minutes in the dryer on low heat, it was fully fluffed and ready to use. The outer shell is made from exceptionally soft, high-quality cotton that feels wonderful against your skin. It's so comfortable that I don't feel a duvet cover is necessary unless you simply prefer the look or want to protect it. The shell is also quiet, with none of the crinkly noise that some down comforters have. The box-stitched construction does an excellent job of keeping the down evenly distributed, so there are no cold spots or bunching. The comforter is lightweight while still feeling wonderfully fluffy and luxurious. Although it's marketed as an all-season comforter, I think that's an accurate description. It provides plenty of warmth while remaining breathable, and if you prefer extra warmth during the coldest winter nights, adding a lightweight blanket would make it perfect for year-round use. One of the reasons I chose this comforter is my previous experience with a similar Pacific Coast down comforter that I've owned for nearly 10 years. It has held up exceptionally well with no tears, no down leakage, and no loss of performance over time (still in great condition). Based on the construction and materials of this new comforter, I have every expectation that it will provide the same long-lasting quality. Overall, this is a premium comforter that delivers the comfort and feel of luxury hotel bedding. Between the outstanding materials, thoughtful packaging, quality construction, and attention to detail, I believe it's well worth the investment and would highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Best Goose Comforter Ever! Love!!
Size: King
I am extremely happy/impressed and in Love with my Pacific Coast Goose Feather Down Comforter in King size. From the moment I put it on my bed, I noticed the difference in quality and comfort. It has the perfect balance of fluffy, soft, and luxurious without feeling overly heavy or bulky. It gives my bedroom that high end hotel bedding feel while still being comfortable and practical for everyday use. The comforter is incredibly cozy and provides just the right amount of warmth for year round use. I love that it feels warm and comforting on cooler nights but remains breathable enough that I do not feel overheated. The down and feather fill gives it a beautiful loft and plush feel, making my bed look and feel much more inviting. One of my favorite features is the quiet, noiseless shell. Some comforters can make annoying crinkling sounds when you move, but this one stays soft and quiet throughout the night. The fabric feels smooth and comfortable against my duvet cover, and the 8 corner and center loops are a great added detail because they keep everything secure and prevent the insert from shifting around. The King size dimensions are generous and provide great coverage, making it perfect for my bed. The craftsmanship feels excellent, and the overall quality is exactly what I expect from luxury bedding. It has transformed my sleeping experience and made my bed feel like a cozy retreat every night. I highly recommend this comforter to anyone looking for a premium, fluffy, breathable, and comfortable duvet insert. It is a great investment for better sleep and a more luxurious bedroom experience-Love!!! Highly Recommend!!! ... show more

  • Hotel-bed fluffy, warm without weight, and quieter than our old duvet
Size: King
We wanted that fluffy hotel-comforter feel at home, and this goose feather down insert delivered it the first night. It's got real loft, so it puffs up on the bed and looks inviting, but the actual weight is feather-light, which is the magic of good down, warm without that heavy pinned-down feeling. As an all-season fill it's been just right for us, cozy on cool nights without cooking us when the room's warmer. The sewn-through construction keeps the fill evenly distributed so it doesn't shift into cold spots or clumps at the bottom, which was a problem with a cheaper comforter we had. The shell is genuinely noiseless, no crinkly synthetic sound when you move, and it feels soft against the skin even before a duvet cover goes on. The eight duvet loops made anchoring a cover easy so it doesn't slide around inside. If you're sensitive to it, a real down comforter needs a day to fully loft out of the packaging and there's a faint natural smell at first that airs right out. It's labeled hypoallergenic and neither of us has had any issue with it. A few weeks in it's held its loft and still looks full, and it's turned making the bed into something that actually looks nice. ... show more

  • Goose feather & down, no filler
Size: Queen
I received this queen size, goose, feather, and down comforter from Pacific Coast. This comforter comes well, sealed, and packaged with premium boxing. It includes instructions and information on caring for the comforter. The comforter itself is quite heavy and well stitched. You can feel the goose down and feathers individually inside if you rub your fingers on the product. I’ve used it for a few days, and I have not noticed any feathers coming out of the comforter, which is a plus. I actually have a goose down pillow and I lose feathers weekly. The fabric of the comforter feels very nice and not scratchy at all. The product itself does feel far more luxurious than my other comforter/duvet which is a cheap one. This product for me took a while to warm me up as I run pretty cold. I keep the house at 73° in the summer. I would say after about 15 to 20 minutes I started to warm up. And then it would just get warmer and warmer. I personally have no problems with that because I can just stick a leg out or cool down in another way. Overall, I like the fact that it’s so warm and that’s why I grabbed it. When comparing it to my other duvet, I would say this one is a little noisier when rolling around. Not huge, but worth mentioning. Pacific Coast is a US based brand, but this is made in China. Where they lose a point is during the unboxing and reading the insert material, there’s a lack of proper English. I feel like at this price point, the lack of detail to what is being written, sullied the product. It makes me wonder how much more of their process they are offshoring, and with that commanding such a high price for a product made in China. Overall, the product is a very nice and luxurious. I don’t feel like I got a substandard product at this point. ... show more

  • Exceptional Quality
Size: Twin
This is an exceptional quality comforter, which is exactly what I have come to expect from Pacific Coast. In my opinion, they are one of the best bedding brands around, and this feels like a genuinely premium product from the moment you take it out of the package. The shell is extremely soft and, importantly, quiet, without the constant crinkling and rustling you sometimes get from down comforters. The feather and down fill has excellent loft, feels wonderfully fluffy without being excessively heavy, and provides a nice balance of warmth and breathability that makes it practical for most of the year. The stitching is clean and substantial, the fill stays evenly distributed, and the eight attachment loops are a welcome addition if you use it inside a duvet cover. It does arrive compressed, so give it some time and a good shake to reach its full loft before judging it. Once fluffed, it has that wonderfully substantial, luxurious feel you associate with really good hotel bedding. There are certainly cheaper comforters available, but there is a noticeable difference in materials and construction here. Pacific Coast has an excellent reputation for a reason, and this comforter reinforces it. Exceptional quality all around and absolutely worth paying a little more for. ... show more

  • Absolutely love!
Size: King
After years being a down feather bedding girly, this comforter has helped me navigate what I really like! The high feather ratio results in a firmer shape to each enclosed baffle box. Also worth noting that each section is evenly filled, and the video I took is only an hour after opening... So it continued to fill out and fluff through the evening with use as seen in the picture. Lovely formed clouds, even with an antique cotton duvet. Being high feather, this also allows for better ventilation and this is not as insulated and hot as high down... And I appreciate that because I go from ice cold to burning up, and this kept me feeling regulated and provided incredible sleep with only needing to pop out a leg when my room itself was too hot. The weight is a dream. This is heavy, and my king size in the shipping box was marked 14lbs... So if you have anxiety or restless leg, this can help you feel grounded and provide similar comfort to a weighted blanket. I bought the king for a queen sized duvet and bed, and it's a fluffy success and perfect fit. Washing will require an extra large machine at a Laundromat, but the fabric is incredible thread count and will hold up just fine. Incredible quality, and my investment with various products from Pacific Coast are well worth the money. ... show more

  • Your quality sleeps start here
Size: Queen
$150 comforter for a queen bed with peak production is a worthy price to pay for. The most authentic thing I’ve noticed about the product is a heavy goose feather odor when I first opened it. Unless they have a goose feather perfume spray, the authenticity is truly unmatching. The packaging and the inclusions/unboxing ephemera give you a luxury feeling, which is a good option to leave a positive long lasting impression in gifting your loved ones. The comforter is cool to touch, drawing heat away immediately that will give you a 73 degree sleep during the hot seasons. A good thing is it’s temperature regulating so we’ll see how it does during the winter. The slightly inconvenient part of this is you have to dry clean it as you can’t just toss it in the washing machine. The comforter is also heavy and space-consuming but for what it offers, it’s totally worth it. ... show more
