These are the best down pillows I've had. I searched through the extensive Amazon offerings of down/feather pillows and decided on these; some others focused on their special cotton covering, as if you were going to sleep right on that, but I think we all use pillow cases. These pillows (I bought standard size) are just slightly longer than others, and are on the firm side, they have quite a weight of feather/down mix, but also enough give to provide soft comfort, thus it cradles your head and neck without sinking in too far. The packaging is very good, the pillows fluffed up from their compressed shipping form within a couple of hours, there is no odor. I finally get great sleep. The price is good. I have only one minor complaint. As the online illustration of pillow construction shows, and is the case for most of the down pillows, there is a thin layer between the down and the cotton surface of plastic material. Some pillows, like this, have it as a sheet, others have it as a mass of fibers, but it seems to be standard these days (keeps the pillow structure, helps prevent feathers from escaping, etc.); there is a slight crinkly sound from this material when I first lay down. Nonetheless, these pillows deserve the full five stars.

After researching feather pillows for a while I landed on this company for quality, price and feedback from various sites. While these are very nice quality pillows, they are just a tad too thick and hard. I never thought I'd "complain" about a feather pillow being too thick - yet here we are. My partner feels the same about his new pillow. They are difficult to adjust in order to be comfortable and I feel like my neck is too high. I might perform some non invasive surgery and remove some of the down to suit our needs. If you have neck issues and don't like memory foam for that reason, these pillows may not work for you either. I guess this is a case of trial & error when pillow shopping online Again, quality is great. No complaints. Perhaps the company offers or will offer pillows with variable density in the future? One can hope.

I bought these pillows because they are made of natural materials, and I want to support that. They are truly well made and look like they would last forever, but they have a "stiffness" to them that is not conducive to restful sleep. For me. I have to tuck the edge of my pillow under my face - can't stand to have my nose buried - and these are not soft/pliable enough to comfortably do that. These pillows would be great for back sleepers.
