the unit works great, however, I did bypass 3 of the speakers through the unit. Too many people (on Google search) say it cuts out at high volume. steering wheel controls work great once you program them (android head unit). reason for 4 stars is the speaker for chimes etc., could have had a better-sounding tone and more volume. if you have never or rarely installed a deck with one of these have someone who knows what they're looking at install this, I'm guessing that's why some can't get steering wheel controls or chimes to work. over it took about 1-1.5 hr to install. ... show more

So I went to go ahead and install listen to my radio today, and I was just staring at the booklet for about 30 minutes. I wish you guys would go ahead and update these manuals. Maybe it’s because I’m blonde, but I honestly wish you guys would go into more detail about the product, especially how to install, as well as set up the wires. I am a newbie. You guys need a manual for a newbie. But, I wish you guys would be more in detail about each wire specifically and especially which ones go with which. Especially if a product is $133, you guys need to make sure that there is detailed instructions on how to go ahead and set up everything. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Used this kit to install an Atoto A6 in my 2008 Pontiac Torrent. Very clear instructions with all wires being clearly labeled. Plenty of space in the dash to hide the extra wires.

The instructions were horrible. I guess that's to be expected when you have a product with a lot of different applications. Figuring out what connected to what was a nightmare. I have no idea how bad it would be if for someone who didn't have experience swapping out radios. Once it was installed and connected, the steering wheel controls do still work with the new radio. The OnStar button does seem to work (I don't pay for OnStar, so I can't fully confirm the operation). Overall it does what it's supposed to once you get it hooked up. ... show more
